He doesn't eat what the mainstream would consider a "balanced diet" though. He eats no gains or starches, no nuts, no seeds, no plant oils, no greens, and no processed sugar. He only eats certain fruits. And he eats way more meat than the mainstream medical establishment recommends.
      And he's right.

As a dr, ive realised that the best diet is different from 1 person to another depending on your age, gender, activity levels and where you live in the world.
    The similarities however are :
    1. Eat in moderation
    2. Try to go as many hrs as you can without food ( duration will again differ person to person )
    3. Eat locally sourced food
    4. Avoid processed food as much as you can

He’s 44 and looks healthier than 90% of men his age. Sun damage? Are you brainwashed to think the sun is bad? it’s only bad because we live highly unnatural lives and spend 75% of our time indoors & cover our skin from birth with clothing and so we burn easily. We are a mammal , an animal, we are meant to be outside and under the sun for the majority of our day. The sun is primarily how we make our vitamin D & get infrared light which helps with hormone synthesis & melatonin production/ circadian rhythm regulation. Most of that will probably fly right over your head though like with most people who’re just products of social conditioning.

It makes me a bit uncomfortable that you are selling health advice to people (many of them with fragile health) and you don't have any long-term clinical or academic experience to back things up. Before your honey phase you were raving about how great the carnivore diet is for you, but in your recent videos you are mentioning a range of fairly serious side effects that you experienced during your 100% carnivore days. The same goes for other "influencers". Strong sisters also used to be very positive about their carnivore experience and then it turned out that they are waking up 5 times during the night to go to toilet and that they don't have their periods. At least they aren't selling any health advice, but just sharing experiences.
It's all good to experiment and change your mind, but if within a couple years you are flip-flopping from one extreme to another, doesn't it mean that you aren't really in a strong position to give any health advice to anyone else? You still haven't figured out what works for you personally and it will be interesting to see how this experiment of eating high amounts of fructose and organ meats will play out in the medium-term. It's definitely not an ancestral diet, since the volumes of fruit/honey and organs you are promoting wouldn't really be available in most places across the globe, if anywhere at all.
Back in early 2020 I almost purchased a 1-to-1 consultation with you, which even back then was $900!!! per hour. That would have been a waste of money :) , since just a few months after that you started to promote adding fructose to your diet due to your negative experience with the 100% animal based diet.

you also used to be a carnivore.....a few months from now you will probably change your diet again...seems like you are just like every layperson...and you dont care about people with t2 who are a large part of your audience...or used to be...you change your diet based on how you feel in the moment which is ok except that means you dont really have any special knowledge about diet...you dont even have the courtesy to change your name from the carnivore MD to the capricious MD who writes a book and then changes his mind on the subject entirely after he pockets a few coins....shawn baker said it best...you visited the tribe in africa mimicked what they eat when it suited you but when they started eating babboons you changed your tune...i am going to call you the babboon MD from now on....not to be too harsh...you are probably a decent guy but very nerdy and no time tested convictions about anything...just like so many modern social media odd folks who crave attention

Fruit is NOT animal based. You've gotta stop saying that.

I went pescatarian for 8months then switched to strict vegetarian for 6 months and I landed in the hospital with a belly so swollen and shinny a needle will have popped it and this was after enduring stomach issues and bad skin for months. Now I'm anima based for almost 2yrs now but seriously I get anxious around vegetables now. I love fruits though.
