I’m a history major. The Battle of the Little Big Horn has always been my favorite subject in United States History. Here, it is magnificently narrated; rich in details and analysis. I can’t wait for the next episode.
This is excellent ! thanks so much with the details, particulary with the indians, Crazy Horse, details I have never heard, and were well articulated. I have listened to the other parts, for some reason this was the last I saw, and there all very well done !

Great program! Have been fascinated for years. He lost me when he refused the opportunity to take the BIG FIREPOWER with him. Overconfidence or Ignorance?
A day. Crook didn’t inform anyone of his defeat on the Rosebud. He spent his time after his battle, hunting and fishing instead of moving to support Custer and Terry, for which he was severely criticised.

70 million like they knew what the americans wanted. Even though they didnt think gold was anything special, i call bull. They just threw that number out there thinking either the americans would give up trying to buy it or they would get lucky and the americans would just give in to their demands.

One does not sell the land the people walk upon
How far away was General Terry from Custer during the last stand.& Why hadn't Crook reported the battle of the Rosebud sooner.
A day. Crook didn’t inform anyone of his defeat on the Rosebud. He spent his time after his battle, hunting and fishing instead of moving to support Custer and Terry, for which he was severely criticised.
Manifest destiny, that was the reason for war, Custer was a field commander under political orders to force the Indians back to reservation
Seriously was there ever a treaty that United States honored with the Indians. Great podcast as usual.
I have the same question. I should search the Internet.
Red Cloud said the government only kept one promise, "They promised to take our land and they took it."Red Cloud"

Chris Wimmer is a god among men
I have grown to dislike Grant and this presentation only serves to compound my opinion. Thanks for the efforts.
🤠👍
When did the natives of United States of America accorded equal citizenship rights voting rights and protective rights.
Indians got rights quite early. They were even legally holding black slaves until the end.
In 1924, but New Mexico didn't give them suffrage until 1948
How is it that everytime an indian has a "vision of the future" its always the native people will win a big victory against the Americans?
Can't listen
Congrats another UNWATCHABLE video because of too many commercials
