    It makes for a nice dream, but if one is planning on retiring like this, think again. Prices go up, and in the past year, they have gone up quite a bit. I’ve been back and forth from the Philippines since my wife comes from there. I’ve noticed increases every time I travel there. Decide on a location and invest in a property, don’t throw your money down the toilet, so to speak finding as your retirement years go by your fixed income purchases less and less.

      this is what the globalists want... you to own nothing (and be happy) and control how and where you are allowed to go and soon, there will be a one world digital currency to control how you spend your money.... scary times guys

    Maybe not retire to these but as a base for travelling the area they have potential. Maybe a month or two at a time

    If you’re in good health, it can work. If you’ve a chronic condition, assisted living may be a better fit.

    Retirement is not Care or nursing home
    Of course Drs and nurses are available from clinics nearby
    If you are healthy and have a budget how much you wish to spend in a year then match your retirement home to your budget
    I these 10 are fantastic gems for retirement especially to run away from cold winters or hot burning climate conditions

    this is just a collection of cheap hotels because they are in a not so amazing surrounding. Is this really what you want in retirement? I would rather prefer nice beach places. And there exist hotels that are far better and even cheaper like the royal shaza suites in Mombasa.

      I just checked the Royal Suites on Booking, and it only has a 6.0 rating. That's not very good, think I'll pass....

    I checked the rates for the hotel in the Philippines and it's over $100 per night, am I missing something? How can I find the rates you are suggesting in your video?

    • @pensionexplorer
      @pensionexplorer  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you for your comment! The rates can vary depending on the time of year and promotions available. When the video was created those were the rates.
      I checked a few minutes ago, and I found $73 a night for Vivere Hotel (the hotel mentioned in the video). Please check out this link. You can also see other hotels offering lower rates. www.agoda.com/en-gb/search?cid=1844104&aid=130589&city=1622&checkIn=2024-05-06&checkOut=2024-04-08T00%3A00%3A00&los=1&rooms=1&adults=2&children=0&childages=&travellerType=-1&selectedproperty=52108&ds=RgpiLTOwXce41Pt2
      Please check out my coming video on how to find hotel deals.

    Who wants to retire outside of the US where we don’t have health insurance we can’t use our retirement perks that’s crazy. I thought you were serious about trying to find some thing like that within the United States.

    Hope you like oppressive heat/humidity and torrential rains in most of these places, and the joy of 15 hour flights to go see the family in the usa . Just hope these hotels give free diarrhea meds for the lovely local cuisine you will be partaking, especially if you drink the water or have ice in your drinks.

      I've never had any tummy issues in India, Bali, Sri Lanka, and China. My next foray in South East Asia will be Thailand, which is very close to Cambodia and Vietnam. The heat and the humidity can indeed be oppressive, depending on the season, but neither is a problem when all you're doing is relaxing on the beach or around a gorgeous hotel pool. And I say this as someone who doesn't tolerate heat well!
