I came from the Philippines..yes its true country its cheapest cost of living @quality living hotels, housing . hospital.culture its traditional .its more fun in the Philippines
You forget to mention, Philippines other than the Filipino language, English is also its official language. Many foreign vloggers and expats always mention how easy it is to travel and live in the Philippines because majority of Filipinos understand and speak English.
There are lots of vloggers station in the Philippines as many OFW and relatives around the world wanted to be updated the situation of the Country. Also they have quality cheap healthcare, remember Nurses and Physical Therapist are all over the world. You can use use your Universal Healthcare in the Country.
I wpuld tell Americans to stay in their country which theyve spoiled with drugs.chemicals overconsumption and just plain greed which they transport with them amd change into another America with their fast food emporiams.highrise condoes and loude entitled behaviour never learning the language or costoms of their hosts.

Awesome list of affordable countries! Perfect for retirement planning. Provides great options for living well on a budget. Thanks for the helpful insights!
Ukraine is a beautiful country. Beautiful nature and good climate, rich history and culture, interesting history, delicious cuisine, friendly people. Therefore, neighboring Russia again wants to capture and enslave Ukrainians, but they are resisting. And now it is really dangerous there, especially for children and old people. However, there are still many foreigners in Ukraine who are not afraid and are interested in being in the hot spot of the planet. After Ukraine wins this war, it will actually be a very good place to live.
You need to also talk about the income requirements for retirement to these countries. For example, what good is thinking about reitiring to a low cost of living country that also requires you have a bank acount with $400,000 or a monthly pension income of $4000?
It depends on what part of a country you move to. I moved to Southern Italy and live well on $1200.00 per month. However, if I wanted to live in northern Italy or a large city, I would need a lot more money.
Visa requirements are ignored here and not differentiated between retired expats and digital nomads needing to work make money and perhaps even pay taxes ! -- Language barriers are also largely ignored and can affect the quality of life dramatically. Several of these countries are more suited for tourism but not living long term due to unfriendly visa laws ! Much additional research is needed from what I can see here. -- A terribly incomplete video.
I am 64. Have been living in SA all along and have never been attached!!! Just stay out of dangerous areas and situations. We have problems but this is not Palestine or Russia or so many other worse countries to live in.
I was just in SA for 3months. Stayed at one location and it was extremely safe. lived just like the locals. Loved it and going to get my retirement visa!
What a rather strange list. Just think of the Language aspect of many of these countries and the extreme cultural differences as well. I can just imagine a whole lot of Aussies going to some of these countries and finding out that although Australia is very expensive, there are good reasons for this. BUT, it is time for people in the West to think about the world possibilities and go to the world rather than the world going to the more expensive Western Countries.
You can't lives in Bali with $500 anymore, the living cost here is more expensive especially after pandemic, atleast you need to spend $1000 if you want to have proper life in Bali
No real stats, repetitive adjectives, so everything is remarkable, budget friendly, quality, affordability... We need numbers or just going to Traveling with Kristen
This video is really informative! It's fascinating to see which countries are considered the cheapest to live in for 2024. I’m curious-how do they define 'cheap'? Is it based on overall living expenses, housing, or even healthcare costs? Also, I’d love to know if any of these countries have specific areas or cities that are more affordable than others. What do you all think? Have any of you lived in or visited these places? Let’s discuss!
And there is only two countries that you can have two citizenship united kingdom and the Philippines or you be spending so much money on the visa like Germany you can only stay there for 90 days you have to get out
Yes, maybe locals only... If someone would like to live around western standards, the monthly cost around 700 USD minimum. Philippines not a cheap country at all. There are some cheap things ( Jeepney ride around 15 PHP, local food in local places around 80 PHP, but the size of portion is so small). A normal accomodation ( not shared) around 10.000PHP / month. If you go to a mall to eat a normal restaurant, the price will be 400-600 PHP
@@sandorgruber2898 Going to Mall and to eat at any restaurant once in a month or even weekly is good enough. But if you cook your own food at home you can save a lot of money
Bro, I am in Davao city, so I am know exactley the prices. The restaurant prices, the shop prices and the marketplaces prices too. If you go to shop, the meal ingredients around 30% more expensive, than in Malayisa... @@antigraftandcorruption5849
But ok, just count. If you eat in mall weekly, the prices around 2000 PHP (only 4 meal) You should eat minimum 60 times /month, if you eat only twice. That 4 meals was only 36 USD. You have to eat more 56 times, and pay your accomodation. So, forget the 100 USD, even the 500 USD impossible. In Chiang Mai, I could live about half price than in Philippines. @@antigraftandcorruption5849
Hmm, do they provide complimentary hammocks made of discounted shoelaces in these 'cheapest countries'? Asking for a friend who's on a shoestring budget...literally! 😄
This show claims to have been done two months ago as of march eleventh twenty twenty four yet it claims k I e v e in ukraine to be the number seven the lowest cost city in the world to live in Are you kidding me
Thank you very much but for me its only 3 counties ...1,,PORTUGAL 2,,,,PoRtUgAl and 3 Portugal the best in the world. And its going to be even better just wait feu Months.
You would need a job if your not retired, I'm retired but my kids and grandchildren are not, I presume dollars are similar to pounds I'm from England 🏴🏴🏴🏴
Despite the very nice English, I need to say: It's always the same, nearly. Latin America, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, plus perhaps some Arab nations where hardly anyone from the "West" would like to live. You should revise your titles unless you've visited all the regions of the world during preparation of the videos, "25 really cheap countries ..." or so. If you had done so, in a list of 25, Madagascar and Tanzania would be present.
There is NO thing as ex pats be becomes an immigrant when one lives in a foreign country and living according to immigration laws and not ex pats laws.

what about countries without CBDC? You should mentioned the safety of the countries mentioned. Some countries may be involved with China and US war in the near future!
True. Not safe for expats as they are so many rascals even in the city and you will be robbed in the broad daylight. Cost of living is expensive. Peace & security is the number 1 problem in the country.
Spain, Morocco and Portugal are the best for me : Culture, Food, Scenery, perfect weather and friendly people.
No, Only Portugal and Spain!

Ukraine? Now? I hope for that to be accurate before long, but not good advice currently.
Exactly I wouldn't recommend it
In Greece, it depends where you live. Homes in major cities like Athens or Thessaloniki cost more than $1,500 a month.
Everyone always forgets about Romania!
... especially as they speak a Romance language that is written in Latin script.

Ukraine really ? That country is in a war right now I don't believe anyone want to go there because of the situation.

living in places that are that affordable would be nice too.
You did not include about personal safety like robbers or street gang, for me the worst is South Africa.
