There is an actual name for this. They are called Mondegreens. There are books full of them. Can't believe you didn't include "Slow motion Walter, Fire Engine Guy" (smoke on the water) or the infamous "'scuse me while I kiss this guy"!!

My brother when he was little used to think the song Pumped Up Kicks was about a stroll in a park. He’d always sing “All the other kids with the pumped up kicks better run better run out run my buggy” when, the lyrics was actually “All the other kids with the pumped up kicks better run better run out run my bullets”

When I first heard the sample of Michael Jackson singing "Ma-ma-se, ma-ma-sa, ma-ma-ko-ssa" in Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music", I at first thought it was, "I'm insane at the sound of Microsoft," and then I saw someone else said they had heard it as, "Mama say mama saw my Microsoft." Honestly, that second one is a lot closer than what I originally heard.
M.J actually sampled " Mama say mama mu say " from a African song..!! MJ song was a sample song to.

For years I thought ACDC was singing "Dirty deeds done with sheep 🐑". Because somehow that made sense to me. And a friend was certain that Foster The People were singing All the other kids with the pumped up LIPS. rather than pumped up kicks (shoes).

I can't believe they didn't mention what I suspect is the MOST commonly misheard lyric in Africa. The line is "As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti", but I've heard TONS of people say either "like a lepress" (which I'm guessing they take to mean not a female leper but a female leopard, so maybe more accurately "leopress"?) or "like an empress".
Leopardess is more accurate.
For me it was Bad Moon on the Rise. Clearly what was being said is ‘there’s a bathroom on the right’.

Lots of people have misheard "I may be crazy" in "You May Be Right" by Billy Joel. They say "I make the gravy," I say "I may be great."
And "I can't hide" in "I Want To Hold Your Hand" sounded more like "I can hand."
