I know a guy here who has never been to Japan in his life but has studied for over a decade and speaks amazing Kansai-ben! I often wonder how he managed to find the material/people to get so fluent in that specific dialect

This is a great video ❤ but on a side note I want to say that it’s sad that some people focus so much on pronunciation and look down upon/outright discriminate foreigners who speak with a little accent 😢
Ananya, I'm curious about something. In previous videos I think you also mentioned that you had a phase where you had to fix your intonation since you were watching people from all over japan. How difficult was this process of getting back to proper 標準語?
Thank you for this video! I have a comment about what you said; you mentioned that the Japanese "r" sound is not heard in the western world, but actually it is exactly the same as one of the "r" sounds that exist in Portuguese. :-)
