Great review What about reliability and durability over a long period of time , I also want to know about the maintenance requirements for battery and generators?
Please bring the diesel xtrai back. I have had a diesel xtrail for the past seven years , i get up to 60mpg and had no issues with the car from new. It does not make sense to me to have an engine that drives a generator that charges a battery that drives an electric motor that eventually drives the wheels. The m p g for this set up is much reduced from the diesel version. I guess the extra weight and the set up of the epower having more component's will add to the cost of repair and servicing.
6.5 L/100km is the miracle figure that you will only see in perfect conditions in eco mode, cruising on a dual carriageway at about 100km/h without much accel /decel due to other traffic, conditions or road layout. Apert from that, 7.5 - 8 is more likely.
Were looking at getting one 5 seats we have a 7 seats Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid x trail has near all we have in the Hyundai put its the only one thats has it all for us
Had mine for a few weeks now and without doubt the best car I have owned and I have had many cars over the years, ticks all the boxes.
My brother here in Australia loves his X Trail E Force.
Smooth, quiet, responsive, well finished, exceeds expectations
Hi Sinead, I like your presentation method and how you provide detail precisely in a very clear manner.
Great review

Great looking car.
Not a lot of legroom for a kid in that seat.
