So we are moving on after this season. Thought the move would be to negotiate a trade before the draft for picks. Now he walks, and we draft who? Beck, Ewers, Sanders, later pick? Just wonder since they don't surround rook contract QBs with impactfull free agents/trades HC, OC, scheme, will they finally have an efficient rungame in the playoffs and stop the run regardless who's at QB if/when we get back to the playoffs so that we're not having this same discussion blaming the next guy.

This whole conversation proves my point about cowboy fans and media, they are cool with unachieving, mediocre coaches. They had a whole conversation about Dak Prescott and did not mention Mike McCarthy name once. They said that playoff records is a quarterback stat. You know what else it is. It's a coaching stat, too but since our coaching isn't good enough, we're going to pretend like it doesn't exist. Gavin was talking about the running game. Why don't we have one? We have three first round picks on the offensive line and an MVP quarterback. Why can't we run the football? Our coaches aren't good enough scheme. I'm not a fan of Jerry, but I guarantee you if the cowboys have a lot of talent this year and Mike McCarthy gets his head kicked in by the other coach. They will use that all in comment to defend him. And final question if Dak and Romo are the problem, why do our coaches don't succeed when they leave here?

The franchise can support a young talented unproven QB if they can support an immobile older needy lesser athletic QB. The franchise gets credit for the playoff appearances too. Daks advantage over a young or lesser QB is his throwing which is inconsistent and his experience which does nothing for him in stressful situations. @bdgrey หลายเดือนก่อน

@@nubby2790 You don't know if the o line is improved. Zack Martin is a year older, and 2 of our starters are gone, meaning we will have 2 guys starting who have never started or played a snap of NFL football.
      We don't have a legit #2 WR. We don't have a RB.
Micah is great for the first 11 games of the season, and then his body wears down and he's useless from there. Osa is fine rotational 3 tech, but he's a borderline starter on most teams. D Law's is 32. He's well past his prime.
We also have serious questions at S, Diggs will not be his pre-injury self until at best 2025, and while I do like Bland, he's what Diggs was a few years ago, meaning boom or bust.
You also don't know if the LB group is improved. It's probably better by default simply b/c we actually have 3 right now, but we have zero depth behind that, and one of our LB's still hasn't played a snap of NFL football.
Is the team trash? No, but that's not what we're talking about here. You're trying to tell everyone that this team is as loaded as SF. It's not.
