    Your back deck at 4:40 was so smooth

    What helped me doing the tomahawk (I'm still not really good at it) Was doing it without a paddle. Helped me with committing to the move.

      Yes! Exactly, that's why I never talk about placing your paddle. Just drop the edge, commit and the rest will fall into place, mostly, probably!

    Great video as per usual. Awesome to see that kick skip off the ramp, looks like fun

    My dream has always been to do something like this at a waterpark!

    • @Senders

      Same! But the slides are always too narrow for the kayaks

    I noticed in the clip you added at 12:34 it looks like you start out leaning back instead of forward, to pull the stern up first and get it some downward momentum as it falls before leaning forward to lift the bow. Would that have helped Huey? Or does it work fine without that added momentum?
    Sweet video as always!

      I think any added momentum for that trick is a huge help but I think the biggest part is learning the weird strength to pull it through. It really feels like you're pulling the trick through foreeeever!

    Can you get permission to go down some of those slides?

    • @Senders
      @Senders  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dude I will ask, would be sick if kayakers could session them!

    Those were some really cool moves!
    So how much did that almost flat landing with your kayak actually hurt?
    And yes, better take a much shorter boat the next time!

    • @Senders
      @Senders  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Cheers mate, not sure what landing you're on about specifically but I can tell you when I landed on my head I took a huge hit to the balls, Huw when he does the front flip hit so hard his calves hurt. Flat water scares me man! haha
