The haggling makes the money side of the scale heavier because they are literally placing more gold on the scale while before you started haggling the potion would only be worth it’s weight
I LOVE Thor's polite and constructive criticism! Even though he didn't have much bad to say, it was so cool seeing him learn this game and say things like, "that's so cool," "that's fun!," or "that's a really good feature!"
I don't usually watch through a whole ass VOD. But when I do, it's actually a really well edited one that cut down the boring parts. It's been very entertaining, thank you!
The fact that it's only 2 hours helps a lot. That's pretty close to my maximum. Those 5 to 8 hour VODs (while they can be cool sometimes) require multiple bathroom breaks, a lunch break, an exercise/stretch break, and an explanation to my friends and family as to why I've been ghosting them all day long xD
I literally never thought of dragging the potion out of the book like that. I only ever saved recipes before I finished the brew, and click "Brew this recipe." I... I'm blown away
@@inqui Yeah, I kicked on my game again recently and I've been playing around with my newly discovered tactic! Now I just need a way to quickly brew a bunch of the same potion.. because hitting my book, clicking the potion, clicking brew, and spamming the bellows a bit is slow. I know, I still haven't actually pulled them out of the book yet. I have all my potions saved as bases. Unfinished potions so I can modify them slightly or get to somewhere nearby if I'm out of specific ingredients. But I've stockpiled pages, and I'm stockpiling resources now. I've also filled the customer area with potions, so I can just drop what they need on the scale without having to seek it in my inventory
I am thoroughly impressed by the amount of quality of life choices in design in such a simple premise game like this. Did they have to throw this much passion, care, skill, etc. into this game about making and selling potions? No. But I am damn glad they did.
I really loved having this video for Thorsday, The little editing to add emphases and effect is really nice 10/10 need more. Maybe some cuts of Noita? Including Thor fucking around and finding out with effects chat has bestowed upon him
idk what it is, but the combination of a calm game and funny commentary is keeping me so focused and entertained by this. I absolutely NEED a part 2! PLEASEEE!!!
To rotate a potion you can use either the Moon salts which rotate anti-clockwise and are discovered after completing albedo, or Sun Salts which rotate clockwise after completing citrinitas
i played this last year, it was so much fun! im so glad ur enjoying the game. the later stages with crazy ingredients for recipes are fun and challenging. i loved trying to find the perfect minimum combo for recip.
I love how to-the-point your videos are. The editing is simple, effective, and straightforward. You understand game mechanics and your commentary is valuable while remaining concise. You also have the voice of an old school play-by-play baseball announcer. A voice that an entire city could come to consider a common cornerstone.
36:52 Thor saying: "You think we could feed it to a peasant to find out?", only for Jeff Bezos to come in for the ad break is incredibly well-timed. That got me.
I have to thank everyone that has gifted subs to others because i wouldn't be able to watch this if it weren't for all those great people Edit: apparently members were able to watch it moments before the video was released to public domain. But either way I'm thankful because now I can do this
Ah yes! One of my favorite alchemy games! I fell in love with alchemy thanks to Skyrim and its crafting system for alchemy but when this came onto Gamepass for a time, I loved it and exploring the possibilities of potion making and how this game went about doing it. Im happy to see you enjoyed your time with it and I hope to see a fellow alchemist continue on their journey!
Just wanted to say I ended up buying this game after watching you showcase it for about 30-45 minutes. It’s a fantastic cozy game. There’s an ever so minor time rush to figure out how to serve the customers, but you’re never going to fail the game because of it. Great game! Keep being a wholesome, dude!
Can you believe they are still working on fantastic updates for this game? Like, that question of "Can we (intentionally) grow stuff?"? Not yet, but that's the next update! Man I love this game
I love this game because its a really good visual representation of what it feels like to cook based on intuition instead of a recipe irl At least it feels that way to me, im just comparing it to the way it feels when i cook food.
would love to see more of this!! one of my favorite games to optimize the hell out of, especially once you can consistently get all the weird ingredients like salts and crystals
Love that you have a Starforge sponsorship for the ferrets. I live in Australia and they don't ship here (understandable, like nowhere ships here, we're frustratingly remote,) but I'd be genuinely considering them for my next PC if I didn't live in a remote island (which I love despite basically all youtube sponsors not existing here.) I mean, I built my current PC, but the idea of a place that has self built quality PCs without the effort is appealing. (I'm possibly being biased to being slightly more shilly due to love for the ferrets, but it's hard to assess my own biases accurately. Go ferret!)
I LOVE this game. Have it both on PC and on Switch. It's an amazing chill out game. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who actively names the potions as stupidly as possible
Please, play more of the game! I have been playing the game ever since it first released as an early access and I love it. And watching you play it is very satisfying, cozy and calming. ❤️
The thing I love about this game is how precise you have to be to get the strongest effect, so it feels really good when you line it up perfectly. Excellent systems in this game. It's clear the dev team really thought about what they were doing and about how the game felt.
I really enjoyed this playthrough, i hope to see more. It's was funny when he's said for better sleep you need to turn off your phone. While I sitting at 2 am watching this and can't get sleep
I'm so happy to see you playing this game!! I got it on early access and was so excited to see where it went, you narrating it with all the new stuff just made me so happy, gonna need to reinstall this and play it some more. Have fun!!
Watched 8 minutes and went to buy the game so I could explore it myself. After 15.5 hours of playtime went back to finish the video. Thanks for introducing me to this fine gem!
I actually got to be one of the playtesters for this game! Quite a fun one and I love how unique the potion making is. Still haven't gotten around to finishing it, but I will make a Philosophers Stone one of these days

I haven’t had a computer in years and didn’t know what to get or trust but KNOWING Thor only will sponsor something he has full trust, it’s like fate telling me to get started ❤
The idea of crafting recipes by plotting journeys across a map is so creative and original and yet weirdly makes so much sense. Also the amount of agency the game gives you to customise potion names and labels and descriptions is insane. I mean, rotating the labels? That's just showing off.

The best part of this game is dialing in recipies. There are countless paths to the same effect and the biggest limitation is your creativity
