This is the starter that you have installed. Will it also generate current, to charge the battery?

Putting that starter on there moves the clutch bell sprocket out more and it won't line up with the sprocket on the rear wheel. You would have to drill out the mounting holes for the motor so you can slide the motor to the right so the sprockets line up.
