    Seeing that this is a 2 stroke, i think an expansionchamber for each cylinder would greatly improve performance and rpm limit on this pocket rocket. Awesome build 👏

    • @jjhack3r
      @jjhack3r ปีที่แล้ว +54

      It's running rich. Some snowmobile engines use one expansion chamber for 2 cylinders all the time and the loss isn't too bad. His expansion chamber may not be optimal for that engine tho.

    • @tejdz1337
      @tejdz1337 ปีที่แล้ว +43

      @jjhack3r it would work if he had both pistons firing at the same time, how he has them 180 degrees apart means pulses from 1 cylinder will work against the other and vice versa. effectively making the pipe act half as short, throwing the resonance way out of wack.

    Casually welding aluminium without any breathing gear or covering up your skin is a great way to shorten your life, lung cancer and skin cancer is a real killer. I used to tack stuff all the time without putting gloves on to save time, or i wouldnt connect my air line to my mask because the job i was doing would only take 30 seconds. But then i see the older guys who are in their 50s and 60s dieing from lung cancer and skin cancer, people who i know personally, so now i make sure i do it every time, no matter how small the job is. Even if it's not aluminium, cast iron or regular steel is still bad, especially if the metal has had oil on it at some point, the smoke will cause cancer.
    I also notice you handle a lot of solvents without using gloves which is another sure fire way to get all manner of different cancers and central nervous system damage, especially some of those older part cleaners that im almost certain aren't yet banned in the country you are in. Tetrachloroethylene is one of the worst chemicals you can put your hands into, and what's worse is that your body cannot get rid of it once it's inside of you.
    You really should consider wearing some protection, gloves are not expensive and if you can't get nice mask with an airline and air filter pack at the very least weld outside with a fan set just above your arc. And for the love of god check your solvents especially for Tetrachloroethylene, there are lots of alternatives out there which aren't quite as dangerous.
    Or you could just wear gloves!!
    I love your videos but someone has to tell you this, stay safe.

It 12= 600-1200cc, 24= 1200-2400cc, 36= a lot more than 1200cc!😆, assemble a manifold to use a single carburetor, the difficulty would be in 12,24 or more expansion chambers. Get it to run properly, producing 6-8,10+ HP per cylinder, at 16-18k RPM, at 50-100 cc per cylinder. A 2.4L W24 two stroke would sound like you fell in a nest of angry bees!

    Ok bro, i have a challenge for you. Find a heavy equipment fuel pump. Something off of an old Detroit or caterpillar. I mean, an old alfa Romero spider had a similar setup to what im suggesting but those are more rarw. Anyway, those mechanical pumps, like a lot of pumps, are like miniature engine. Cool thing about the old cat ones is a lot of them are inline 4 cylinders and are exceptionally well designed and made. The rotating assembly might even have the strength to handle boost....you see where im going with this? I know you can get it done, lets see how good you are. Build an engine out of a mechanical fuel pump that doesn't just idle. But will pull rpm and hold up to at least 8 psi of boost. Id suggest running it on pure methanol if youre gonna push it hard. Keeping it cool is gonna be a huge part in the reliability and methanol brings intake air temps down enough to create cold condensation on the intake manifold.

    Only problem is that since it's still a 2 stroke, it needs an expansion chamber for back pressure to define low, medium & high power bands, if it had one it would be much faster, have more torque & be more responsive, run it 40:1 or 50:1 depending upon your jet size & or squish for the headkit & you can turn this thing into a real track monster!🔥

    This is awesome and excellent machining! I know it’s two stroke but it seems to be very Smokey

    So sick!!! I'd love to see you make an Inline-4 with four of those/some 50cc bike engines sewn together. Then run it longitudinally with a driveshaft to a diff/transfer case in the back. Maybe make a pocket quad/mini 4-wheeler that way. That pokemon (pocket monster) sounds awesome as well!

    You should be tightening the crankcase and cylinders in star pattern. Otherwise wery cool vid.

    I would have turned the cylinders around so the carbs are in the front n pipes out the back. Some porting and expansion chambers would be fun but youd prolly be getting into chassis/swing arm stiffness issues.. I dont know if the pistons would take it but itd be neet to shave the heads bring the compression up a little add some timing and 100 octane 😁

    Very kul! A bit less oil in the gas mixture might help as well.

    Nice. It would be awesome if you made a V4 with these, like the honda nsr 500. Although maybe this pocket bike is too small for that.

    Nicely done. Either you are adding too much 2 stroke oil or need to adjust the floaters or fuel/air mixture in the carbs, it could be scary faster!

    Amigo top o vídeo mas vc podia ter usado um carburador vai para 2 era só te deixado sem o retentor do meio. Do moto e almento o furo do carburador . Tá de parabéns pelo vídeo
