Best vehicle Ive ever had. I had the 1996 T3, powered by the Golf 1,8 motor. It could tow a 1 ton trailer with ease. I had it for 10 years , did close on 500000 Km’s, not a single moment of trouble. I’d removed the middle row of seats so the kids could play and sleep on long holiday trips. Written off by my brother in law , he lost control of it ,he looked down to change gears ( those gear levers could be a bit fiddly) , and crashed. I cried when the panel beater told me it was a write off
