    Would help for us woodshop challenged people to get a better idea if you mentioned what each piece of wood was used for with measurements if cutting. Building the base is where I have questions but still a useful video, thanks.

    Bar came out really nice! Question... where did you use the 1”x4”x8’? I’m building the same bar but don’t see how or where you used this material. Please let me know, thanks and good work!

    Quick question for you my friend. I'm making a single wide pallet bar for my dad for Christmas. How do you connect the 90degree corners from one pallet to the next? what has to be cut out in order to be able to screw them together? Also, did you pre drill all the holes.?

    • @jasonross5032
      @jasonross5032  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jeffrey Newman use the 2x3 support beams from the backside and run them all the way to the 90 corner and you can screw into that there will be other spots on that corner where you'll be able to zip screws through it once you put the top on the top it's going to be your main support of holding those down so they don't move all so with the pallets you do not need to pre drill hope this helps

    did you secure it to the wall or flood ?

  • @iliketheanonymity6748
    @iliketheanonymity6748 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's been 5yrs now, would you do anything different? (Like maybe a wider top or maybe lay the pallets the other way) And also, it looks like you put a clear coat of poly on the top, is that right?

    Awesome videos. I'm looking a small pallet bar (for my man shed) probably using two pallets. Can you recommend a good instructional manual or plan??

    What size is the top of the bar

  • @JohnnyMarbles1
    @JohnnyMarbles1 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    How tall is this bar? I can only find pallets that are 3 feet tall when laying on their side. Wondering if i used the 3 footers if i could just out something on the bottom to boost it up?

    • @jasonross5032
      @jasonross5032  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most pallets are between 3-4 feet tall I think the ones I used where 4 foot tall when they where layed on there side

    How did you fasten the sides to the front of the bar!

    • @jasonross5032
      @jasonross5032  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I just used 2 1/2 inch screws and fastened them to the 2 x 3 bean that I zipped the two front pallets together then I just found a few spots where the 2 x 4's will meet together and zipped them with screws once you put the top on it it will lock them all together thank you for watching and the feed back.

  • @OTEB830
    @OTEB830 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you use 2 x 4's for the shelf?

    • @jasonross5032
      @jasonross5032  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used 2x3 they are cheeper

  • @OTEB830
    @OTEB830 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I noticed you listed 4 1 x 4's in your material list. What did you use these for?

    • @jasonross5032
      @jasonross5032  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply I just saw your comment I laid the 1x4 on to of the 2x3 to make the shelf behind the bar deeper this way you can hold more on top of it .

  • @Troymvp
    @Troymvp 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love the video. But how did you piece the all the pallets together?

    • @jasonross5032
      @jasonross5032  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used the 2x3 to hold them to to gather zip screws in the corners just like in the video the top holds everything together nice and firm all so the shelf I made in the back off of the first 2x3 is for support . thanks for watching

    • @Troymvp
      @Troymvp 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jason Ross one more question. What size nails or screws did you use?

    • @jasonross5032
      @jasonross5032  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Troy Perkins 1-1/4 inch finish nails

    Awesome bar! Check mine out, I think total it cost me $20 to build. I used all pallet lumber. Just had to buy screw, nails, and glue. I also got a sick set of lights for above it at a yardsale for $3! Ohh and the stools are included in the $20 price of the bar! 👍
