State boys are who you want to deal with. Respectful, stern, but fair. In my case compassionate. Obviously, there can be exceptions

I am a professional driver in Missouri, and 100% of my traffic enforcement encounters have been with either state or local commercial enforcement (we can be pulled over even if no crime has been committed for a paperwork/safety check). I have never once encountered a state trooper who was not 100% professional and straightforward. Their professionalism can be intimidating, but as long as you are polite and courteous they will be as well.
Oh, and if they pull you over for a ticket, you're getting it. They VERY seldom give warnings.

The highway patrol has been on the interstates in the city for well over a decade now.

Any time police pull you over most are nervous. That doesn't mean you are doing something wrong

Why don't troopers wear a badge on their shirt?

Criminal profiling is legal. Don’t be a criminal and you don’t have an issue, no matter what color. I know that’s a hard concept for some.
