In my opinion the time we have in this life. We should use it wisely, be good stewards of our time. Paul's last letter was to Timothy (2 Timothy)....He tells Timothy "Do not be ashamed about the testimony of our Lord, but rather join me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God". Those who preach another gospel are to be called out, reproved with sound doctrine, rebuked and exhorted to trust in God's word and His word alone. The goal is unity within the Faith. Calling out false teachers preserves the type of unity God wants. The false teachers and pacifiers want Satan’s kind of unity, unity that tolerates damning lies, doctrines, and greed. Maintain balance. Teach truth, but expose the workers of darkness, too.
To be clear, I’ve come out of false teaching/teachers as well… I just don’t see where scripture provides an example of one calling out a false teacher (by name), versus refuting the teaching. If truth is being taught, then someone opposes the truth, I see how the scriptures in the video are relevant to refuting and correcting… just don’t understand the concept of putting someone else’s face up to dispute their words… As Cory said, maybe that’s between me and God! But you do have people that create these kinds of videos with no healthy purpose… they post because they don’t like someone and find that doing reaction videos makes them relevant and “worthy to be praised”.. Hello friend, please read 2 Timothy. Paul makes a point of naming those who have fallen away from the faith and have opposed ministry of the true gospel. He did the same in 1 Tim 1:19-20. We're also reminded us in 2 Thess 3:6,14 to make note of false teachers, not just the teaching. I think it's important to identify the false teaching to the one teaching it...especially those that are crafty in their delivery.
You know you are doing God's work when the dogs surround you barking 🙂 You are correct of course about what a divisive person is as warned of in Titus 3... plainly it refers to those who would seperate us from the truth, divide us again from Jesus who is the truth. Consider that the ministry is reconciliation ( joining again what was seperated , in this case by Sin Is59v2) it makes perfect sense for Paul to tell us to be on guard against those who would again divide us ... NOT FROM EACH OTHER primarily but again from God , undoing the reconciliation by idolatry bowed to a false gospel . 2 Thes 2.. they perish because they refused to love the knowledge of the truth.... we could go on and on but it is 100% clear.... So brother carry on in good conscience before God. After all our role Model carries a winnowing fork to divide wheat from chaff, righteous division is what the Gospel itself does. Correcting Consequences boundaries standards and accountability are all sins. It's not loving people too. We love people by tolerating and let them do whatever they want. They are also never wrong too. If we offend by correcting or consequences it's evil. Remember God loves everybody

Unity can only be found in Christ and God’s Word. It is impossible to be divisive to the Body of Christ while pointing people to Christ and away from false teachers. The people who accuse faithful Christians of being divisive are usually those who are compromising with the world and feel defensive about it.
We are told to contend for the true faith, and that there would always be deceivers and that a bishop must be able to teach sound doctrine, and that we are not to add to or subtract from anything God has recorded in His word. Galatians 1:6-9 Jude 1:1-3 1 Timothy 3:2 2 Timothy 4:2-6 Revelation 22:18-19 These things have been going on since the Church was founded in the First Century and it continues into the 21st Century. The main difference is that those of us in the West can read the Bible for ourselves and we have access to truth- IF we want to find it. And if we don’t know where to go, we can ask God to help us. Jesus promised His disciples the Spirit of Truth that would lead them Into all truth, and He prayed to The Father to keep them in the truth. John 16:13, John 17:17

Just because an error was preached doesn't make them false pastors or wolves. You can only call out if you have had an audience with them on the matter giving room for context or correction. If you haven't done that, then you are labelling them wrongly and out of order. We grow each day, revelation is progressive, and we know as we follow on to know the Lord. Back then some genuine men of God preached against the use of perfumes and cosmetics, did that discredit their call? Not at all, it's just a wrong exegesis of the word. (Deut. 32:47) and we are to contend earnestly (Jude 1-4).

Whats so sad is we were raised and taught to follow the pastor and submit to the preacher but we've taken it too far and have not done our dudiligence by reading the word and making sure our preacher pastor teachers teachings are lining up with Scripture. Maintain balance. Teach truth, but expose the workers of darkness, too.
To be clear, I’ve come out of false teaching/teachers as well… I just don’t see where scripture provides an example of one calling out a false teacher (by name), versus refuting the teaching. If truth is being taught, then someone opposes the truth, I see how the scriptures in the video are relevant to refuting and correcting… just don’t understand the concept of putting someone else’s face up to dispute their words…

Hello friend, please read 2 Timothy. Paul makes a point of naming those who have fallen away from the faith and have opposed ministry of the true gospel. He did the same in 1 Tim 1:19-20. We're also reminded us in 2 Thess 3:6,14 to make note of false teachers, not just the teaching. I think it's important to identify the false teaching to the one teaching it...especially those that are crafty in their delivery.

NOT FROM EACH OTHER primarily but again from God , undoing the reconciliation by idolatry bowed to a false gospel . 2 Thes 2.. they perish because they refused to love the knowledge of the truth.... we could go on and on but it is 100% clear.... There are 7.9 Billion people on earth. Out of those, 2.4 Billion are Christians.That means currently as it stands 5.5 billion are going to hell because they are not Christians and follow other religions.The number is probably more more as you say some Christians themselves are destined for it. Just because an error was preached doesn't make them false pastors or wolves. You can only call out if you have had an audience with them on the matter giving room for context or correction. If you haven't done that, then you are labelling them wrongly and out of order. We grow each day, revelation is progressive, and we know as we follow on to know the Lord. Back then some genuine men of God preached against the use of perfumes and cosmetics, did that discredit their call? Not at all, it's just a wrong exegesis of the word. If you call it " Questionable Exegesis " then you are on point and you need to come back to clarify after you have engaged them for clarity. Thanks
