If I had skill and artistic ability, that’s what I’d do. Take a few of the better mass produced firearms of today and turn them into what makes old guns special! Hand craftsmanship! 👍🏼❤️

Nice one. If i had money i would give a 686sporting for all that job done. Living out side UK i will just find a second one when i can afford it and make it with double trigger ! My next project !
I Have to say that's my favorite looking o/u! I would happily trade my Caesar Guerini in for it.
I'm primarily an English made side by side shooter, this has all the aesthetics that I look for in a gun.
Hello I've been watching your videos and I don't shoot alot. But I work at a sporting clays facility.And I'm going to get the Beretta 686 silver pigeon 1.I like it seems to be a fine gun and a working receiver I've been looking at all the over and unders 12 GA with 30" barrel. So my choice will be the 686 . Thanks for the time. Good day now.
I have a tradition of sleeping with a new gun for a night before I take it out and shoot it the next day. I’d sleep with that gun every night.
Id need a need a new stock though. I need a pistol grip to shoot well.
Im saving (and selling some of the more expensive guns I don’t use) for a Longthorne though. Im all about barrels and actions. And the barrels on the Longthorne’s makes me a little hot.

Can you order an Unengraved beretta or browning from the factory?
Much better forend wood-to-metal fit than is often seen today even on expensive guns. Don't care for the large hinge pin or monoblock barrels. But then I'm not buying the gun.

Any possibility you may do something akin to this video on the English boxlock? It remains the standard for attainable doubles for many shooters. The English boxlock reflects the strength and tradition of British gun making and quality for over a century. Would enjoy hearing your comments and thoughts.
Jonny, why would you want to slim the stock and forend down like this? - if it was so much better to shoot with the slimmer stock and forend, why wouldn't Beretta make their stocks and forends like this as a standard? - excuse my ignorance - just asking?

It's a piece of art surely, but for me personally, I'm all about how a gun shoots rather than how it looks. If I owned something a nice as that I'd be scared to take it out of the cabinet in case I damaged it!

Beautiful 😎 I handled ones of these in the 90's. A 20 bore. Definitely the most beautiful shotgun I have ever encountered .... unforgettable. Had been made as a gift for a lady, never used, stored in a lovely leather leg of mutton case, and probably to this day still never shot.
Apparently this is one of very very few 12’s. The process is much more popular on 20’s

Double trigger on an O/U..... Not for me !
That's all I've ever had, only single trigger I own is my rifle haha, I'm just too skint to go out and buy a single trigger so it's not that I'm a double trigger martyr!! In fact the sarasketa that he uses in a cheap vs expensive video is the same as mine and it's not as painful to shoot as he makes out
