Motorola Moto Z Revisited: What Went Wrong?

We revisit the Motorola Moto Z to see what the company did right and what it did wrong.
For a device that launched in Q3 2016, the Moto z still features specs that rival the current flagships. The Z includes a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, 13MP camera, Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM, 2,600mAh battery and Android 7.0 Nougat. You can upgrade to the Moto Z Force for about $100 more, which gets you a 21MP main camera, ShatterShield display, and larger 3,500mAh battery.
