- UPDATE: I see that a lot of people have been asking about how I made the video, I actually drew everything by hand first, turned them into vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator, and then animated the whole thing using Adobe Flash :)
My information design thesis in college.

Everyone is talking about being here from online school, but is nobody gonna just credit this person for being an amazing artist?

@ me still being confused about how to do this for my homework 👩🏽🦯
Yeah my assignment was very vague
When your teacher forces you to watch this.
who else had to watch this for online school?
ya i had to lol
yup
Me
yes lmao
yup
Imagine having to watch such an amazing video because your teacher told you to! That sounds like a dream.
Very informative video with great animation! Loved it!
Bruh Online school be like:
I started with the script and the storyboards. Mapped out and planned the big picture and sketched them on Adobe Illustrator. I used Flash for animating and Premier for stitching everything up (since exporting videos in Flash took a lot of disk space). That's everything in a nutshell and I think each video took me 10++ hours to finish :)
my high school teacher taught my class how to do this and we used movies to take notes to and i still take notes like this for everything 4 years later
99% of the comments: "I'm JuSt HeRe BeCaUsE oF OnLiNe ScHoOl"
1% of the comments: "Good video I wish I could draw, I really love your content"
I use this in my junior high English classes to show that representation is a fun, potentially rich-in-meaning, multi-faceted way to be active in becoming a language artist. :) Plus, doodling is great for those who can't sit still for longer periods of time...and for those who are just more visual learners. Thank you for making this, Claudine! I think it's really well done!
i had to do this for my school
this video is amazing!! i'm also here from online school but i love the video in general! thanks for making it :D
as a visual learner i really wish i could draw like that.
the only reason im watchin is because of my teacher😑
yea
you only got a view because of my teacher >: |

Salty kids
It’s cool how there are many ways to do sketch noting, as I call it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with everyone who decides to watch this!
Cute. I really like the doodles too! :D
Reminds me of mind mapping
OP: *advocates for a way to study
Also OP: *puts x on the y-axis and y on the x-axis 2:17
Nekotizimo LOL thanks for pointing that out. Oops
@@ClaudineDelfin I caught it, too, but it's actually one of the things I could ask my students to look carefully for as we watch the video.
Thanks for watching! The media is actually located on the website in the description :)
now i have backup for when i tell my teacher i dont want to notetake paper and pencil ☺
This person is great at animating, but my teacher made me watch this. It's pretty good doe
Love visual note taking. I remember better when i do it. Thanks for posting!
Sorry for being "that" person, but at 2:08, why doesn't the file cabinet not include "k"?
Nicholas Kao lol
True!
Sorry for being "that" person, but in your comment, why does it include a double negative?
That that hurt to see
my natural and favourite method
Wow! Thanks. For homework we have to learn to do visual note taking.
Thanks for the video! I wasn't aware that visual note taking could be so powerful. Personally I take notes on my iPad with an all-in-one app for productivity called Beesy. With it, every information I wrote is updated to the relevant part of the app and can be shared, reproduct and reuse whenever needed. Unfortunately, I don't think visual note taking can do that...
This has a lovely animation! Helped me with organising my notes
As a teacher, I plan on using this in class--I can't help but laugh at all of the student comments!!! They must all have good teachers because this is an awesome video! Thanks for posting. Also, as you explained in your update how you created the video--I'm wondering if you can make a video showing that process??
Ms. Lee thanks for the positive feedback!
As for the animation part, I think the way I did it is a bit too primitive now that there are better programs for animating. If you have an ipad, you might want to check out Procreate animation tutorials. That app is awesome. Good luck! ☺️
@@ClaudineDelfin by the way really good sound quality for a 9 year old video
How... do you not have more subscribers?
FANTASTIC VIDEO.....
you taught in just a few moments many, many things.
I started using cartoons and what we now call visuals when I was 10 or 11 mainly because I was bored with school.
Have any tips for learning to draw? Would love to practice my skills while I take now, your visuals in the video are awesome and vibrant visuals will definitely help retention!
Who else has to watch this for school and hates these kinds of notes
Cool. Visual note taking.
You are very talented.
My Teacher made me do it
Thanks. It's useful video. Two questions: How can I compress a large amount of information on a Visual Note? Do I just to sacrifice data to make the visual note? By other side, are there techniques or suggestions to take it faster? Traditional notes are boring but faster to take. It's difficult when you study a large amount of information taking visual notes for each part. Some advices?
Speed of recording information is my biggest struggle with this kind of note taking. Not sure how to get around that issue.
This is great. Thanks so much. Love the images, text and video
Thank you! I really enjoyed this video, and found it really helpful.
Pretty good kid. Must have took a while to draw this
shes 8 years older now btw
Your voice and accent is so yummy
Well done!
Great work, thanks! This helped me understand some essential things about the subject. Reminds me of RSA Animate - take that as a compliment! One thing though: if you don't own the music, I would suggest that the least you could do is mention the artist's name in your video description. That way, the people who enjoy the music can find out more about the artist, and that way you're sort of helping them out instead of just 'stealing' the piece from the artists. :)
I think the narrator is the artist
At least it has drawings
Very, very useful for teachers.
Yes,yes I am :)
beautiful channel.. :D I wish I can draw!
Honestly, Great Work, but like others have asked…what software did you use? Great job!
Fantastic video!!! :-D
Wonderful! Thank you so much!
