Great seeing 448c and Lava again, The BDS tie-in, more massacre lore, and a different outcome of the NAVY ST fight where while his soul isn't connected to rainbows he is deleted, the outcome is arguably more valuable to the narrative and to Shadow as a character.
Pretty much. Both of them had their life energy extracted. Pink went inside a coffin-looking life energy device. We're not shown the life energy device used on shadow although we see the life energy is extracted while standing up, so maybe the life device is a platform.
