The fear of the guy running in the dark was such a good animation! The atmosphere was sufficiently creepy that I actually felt kinda scared looking at it but the squigglyness made me cackle!!
"We are going down" reminds me of my dad's most recent call to 911. He was driving at 4AM and his car broke down in the middle of the road, so he called because he was obstructing his lane and traffic was picking up. His first words were "I'm dead in the middle of the road." Suffice to say the dispatcher was confused and a bit scared. She did luckily find it funny.
As someone from Chicago, the fear of the glass box is real. Especially if your siblings notice your fear and start jumping on it as soon as you get on so you start having a mini-panic attack and then refuse to trust them ever again near heights.
I'd also be scared of climate change which worsens them (I think that most of the time fires are started by a cigarette or a car or something, but climate change makes the fires worse as well as will likely cause massive economic harm in the future. Fear of heights is a really goofy fear. I’m like deathly afraid of heights and when I’m not high up I’m like “I’m not afraid of heights at all” but I was spooked while standing next to the mall railing and was holding onto it like my life depended on while sitting on the floor.

Yeah! I've heard of 4 fear responses: Fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Fawn is when you try to make yourself seem like less of a threat in the hopes that whatever you're scared of will leave you alone. Like instantly over-apologising to someone you just insulted that looks like they want to start a fight, or when wolves roll onto their backs when an older member of the pack gets annoyed at them. 4:41 this bit with the marshmallows reminded me of a fun tip I learned as a kid in summer camp. We had to take a class on fire safety, and the instructor warned us to be careful with roasting marshmallows, and to always bring them out of the fire slowly. She told us that if we did the opposite and just quickly flicked the stick up towards us, we risked the marshmallow flying off the end and hitting us in the face, at which point we'd have molten, sticky goo covering our face and burning us every second it stayed there. She said she knew a girl it had happened to. Now that thought lives in my brain rent-free every time I roast a marshmallow :)
My sister had a marshmallow roasting, and in order to extinguish the fire on it, she shook it, since the sticks we were using were long and she wasn't really thinking. When I walked up to tell her something, it ended up splattering all over my left forearm. Let me tell you, having flaming sugar napalm on your bare skin is NOT fun and I had to wear gauze and anti-infection cream on it for around a week afterwards.
I once had a molten hot marshmallow that had JUST been ON FIRE drip off my stick onto my hand. I SOMEHOW managed to avoid crying from pain in front of my boyfriend and his church friends, escaped inside to clean off at a sink and run my hand under cold water to soothe the burns, and then cried in the bathroom for a little lol it was AWFUL. i'm with the person above, do not mess around with roasting marshmallows lol

Glad you're not with that jerk anymore. I used to be afraid of dogs, lil puppies, and even that my partner took seriously because even if the threat isn't real the fear is. That's why I handle the phonecalls in this household!
Fear makes me have good dreams at night for some reason. probably the reason why it is because all my fears go to my head when i feel good, so before i try to go to sleep, i try to be scared
OH yeah, I have this same thing. I couldn't understand for the longest time why I liked listening to horror stories to sleep. I did a lot of research and found this was a common trait of people with anxiety, because giving your (normally always over reactive anxious) brain something tangible to fear, kind of validates it and allows the "fear" to be identified, so it then corrects the brain chemistry and makes you calm. The more you know 🌈
For me, getting scared in my dreams causes me to become lucid, so I just force myself awake. Rarely have any nightmares due to this. I also frequently experience lucid dreams right before I wake up. I've just kinda always had some form of sleep issue since I was young, having sleep paralysis frequently, sleep walking, and even night terrors when I was really young.
@@p-__This is too far. It can take you to a point of unintelligence where that’s all you comment/reply. You probably utter that FOUL sentence in reality. Furthermore, they’re not even better in every way. His flatulence is hidden among you and literally everyone. That includes fictional characters like: Sonic the hedgehog, and a more degenerate character, Cameramen. They’re like soldiers, but fighting absurd things that I will not talk about.
One of my fears is that each time I go through a doorway, I get transported to a world that is super similar but slightly different. So eventually, if I go through enough doorways, the world around me will be unrecognizable.
I just wanted to say that sometimes animated stories make me worried about the internet, but then I watch yours and I feel like there's a safe space on TH-cam. Like, so many others swear and talk about breaking the law and doing mean things and suggest dark stuff, but your videos are mostly family friendly and still funny! Thanks, Ice Cream Sandwich.
As someone with acrophobia I can completely relate to the experience of thinking your going to have fun high up and then immediately being terrified and overthinking everything.
I think my fear of flying isn’t so much a fear of falling or heights, it might specifically be the lack of control. On a road trip I’m in control of the vehicle. On a plane, idk what the heck that pilot is up to! Dude might be watching Grown Ups 2!!
Oh that’s weird. I’m usually more likely to find a situation scary if I’m the one in control, rather than someone else. I haven’t heard the reverse before!
Andy: I have a fear of uncontrolled fire. 10 yr old me, witnessing an apartment fire the building across from mine: "There's a fire. Huh. Mom, call 911" MIND YOU, I WAS CALMER THAN MY MOM AT THE MOMENT-
I have a fear of solid colors, it’s not the color in general, it’s the things that could hide in the colors, I have a wild imagination that makes monsters, normally black but it could be other colors
0:53 I was similar. When I was in 3rd grade, my family went to the Dominican Republic for spring break. I loved watching plane crash documentaries and stuff, and had no fear of flight whatsoever. Until the first flight of two back from the DR, over sea, to Philidelphia. There was terrible weather, and the plane would drop a few feet every few minutes without warning. I was returning from the bathroom, and the flight attendant lady screaming on the intercom for everyone to get back to their seats, or sit down in the aisle if you're standing and grabbing onto the nearest armrest did not help my anxiety, much less anyone else's. I never get motion sick (though I am horribly afraid of roller coasters and/or rides with drops), though the same can't be said for my mom, as well as many others on the flight who had to use their provided barf bags. The pilot managed to calm everyone down eventually, but when we got back, people were kissing the dirty airport floor. I was still shaking when I got off the plane, just to remember that we still had one more to go before we were back home. Thus, the story of how I became morbidly afraid of plane crashes and falling from heights, especially over water, making next year's Hawaii spring vacation for my dad's 50th birthday a tormenting 8 hours of anxiety and 'what if's.🥲 Luckily, I went to Chicago and Willis Tower the year before this incident.

@@Duskeny also apparently a spoon full of peanut butter before you go to sleep helps you relax and fall asleep faster
Cool
That is not how it works…

I have an irrational fear that my vacuum cleaner will explode if I don't empty it frequently.

Fear is the mind killer.

Thus, the story of how I became morbidly afraid of plane crashes and falling from heights, especially over water, making next year's Hawaii spring vacation for my dad's 50th birthday a tormenting 8 hours of anxiety and 'what if's.🥲
Luckily, I went to Chicago and Willis Tower the year before this incident.
As my rambling suggests, yes, I do have ADHD.
