my major concern is that we didn't recieve an approval letter (just email) so we didn't get a link to a booking system. Has anyone experience the same? If yes, kindly advise.

@@junaidshabbir7110 no, the whole document with numerated pages. When you generate pdf out of this web site it will enumerate the document. You sign the last one where needed and scan the whole document again to upload. Just do it this way to be sure. Also upload scanned copies of you passport and pictures taken by smartphone to be sure they are satisfied with the quality. We shot with both bullets 🤣

2. you can bring the family and you can check with corresponding city hall how many people are allowed. Less than 10 people shouldn’t be a problem

You can arrive on the same day of the wedding. You don't need to do any pre procedures. It is important that you are available for the given appointment time.

You guys can get married in Denmark with his tourist visa. If you have a family in Germany, ask them to invite him to Germany and you can get married in Denmark. Travel insurance would be fine.

Hi, I am not sure about it. Normally one can marry with tourist visa but not sure what could be the intend of visit. I would suggest you to ask The Agency of Family Law.

Hi, we travelled in a friends car so we don’t have any travelling costs. We booked AO hostels with a private room which is usually cheap. I can’t give you an exact number as we travelled around 2 years ago and I don’t have anything in the mind right now

Hello thanks for the video. On the column where it says how many days have you lived together excluding vacation and visits. Well me and my French Polynesian girlfriend have only lived together during vacation when she visited India. Other than that we have not lived together at all. Would that be a problem??
I don't think so. Usually people from different countries marry in Denmark. I don't think that it is mandatory to live together. This is only my opinion and I am not sure how the officials consider this.

Hi, I didn’t have such problem. Please make sure your country code is correctly written in the field. The process is exactly similar to what I have explained in the video. We did everything on our own and didn’t had any issues

There is an option to provide your civil status certificate once you select option no for the question "Have you previously been married / been in a registered partnership?". You can upload your erweiterte meldescheinigung there which basically proves you are single.

Hi, No we both were working when we were married. We didn't inform Ausländbehörde as we both had independent visas. If you want to have your wife/husband as dependent then you need to apply for that visa with marriage certificate. I am not sure what happens when you both are students. I believe the rules remain same as earlier for visa extension.
My suggestion would be to directly check with Ausländbehörde regarding your visa requirements

You need to upload the Meldebescheinigung in the place they ask for proof of single status. I would suggest to do it directly in Denmark. You can also get this done from Germany via some online method which I am not 100% sure. The process is very simple and quite faster once you reach there. It hardly took less than 10 mins for us and you are done with the process.

Yes. It is residence permit from Germany. With German residence permit we can travel to Denmark.

erweiterteMeldebescheinigung is basically your registration certifcation from Bürgeramt. You get this document when you register your address in Germany. If this is not older than 3 months, you can still submit this document as a proof that you are single. erweiterteMeldebescheinigung is basically same as your registration letter and can be obtained any time from Bürgeramt. This document also contains the information about your status (single/divorced/married). We have submitted this document to show that we are single.

I have received the approval but when I go to book wedding it's not recognizing date of birth and not going to next page. How did you write date of birth?
You need to provide the same date as your application. If you still has problem, then better to check with the townhall directly
After getting approval do they ask for documents at the time of actual marriage ceremony as well? Like I am concerned about single status certificate, do we need to present it at the time of ceremony or if my web application is approved then I don't have to worry about any additional documents except the one which i uploaded?
They check visa and passport. They will mention the list of documents that you need to bring to the city hall in the email

Hi, this certificate is specific to Germany. We need an equivalent certificate from India. I heard that India doesnt provide such letters so far. Try to contact a lawyer to get more information on such certificates

In our case, the erweiterte Meldebescheinigung was enough from Rathhaus. Regarding pictures 1-2 pictures are enough

Hi! I have a question is it possible that approval from Agency Of Family Law could take 4 weeks or even 16 weeks (some agency saying that and with their service it takes only 5 days) and more? in what case it can?
Hey it took only less than 5 days for us to get the approval but I heard from some of our subscribers that due to submission of not so clear passport it took longer for them. I would suggest to take scan of all the documents from a scanner to avoid such situations.

My husband is not getting the appointment in German embassy Delhi. So it's delaying the whole process. Hi, Sorry to hear about situation. To marry in Denmark, one should prove themselves as single. As you already got married in India and register in India, it is not possible to marry again in Denmark. Even if you marry in Denmark with visitors visa, your husband should still wait to move to Germany as he need FRV from Germany.

Hi, I am not sure how this works when your wife to be is a German Citizen.It depends on many conditions like if you have PR in Italy or Italien Citizenship. I would suggest to contact Ausländerbehörde in the city where your wife to be lives in. They can give you correct information.

It is not mandatory to live together. You can submit your Anmeldung from different cities.

1. You need to have a valid visa until you get married. I would say having at least 3-6months would be good.
2. Proof of single status is required
3. We paid it via bank transfer. I think it should be possible.
4. If you have normal health insurance which is covered in Denmark too. That is enough. You don’t need any special insurance for the marriage.
5. You don’t need to provide any accommodation proof

True but this letter is also accepted by Danish agency as it contains the marital status as well

Hi, it is at the beginning of the application. If you choose to fill together, then you can fill both details.

Hi, you need to submit it during application process. There is an option to provide your civil status certificate once you select option no for the question "Have you previously been married / been in a registered partnership?". You can upload your erweiterte meldescheinigung there which basically proves you are single.

Hi, we applied for this document physically and received with in few mins. So I can’t help you with online process.
Regarding marriage process with Denmark Agency of family law, as far as your documentation is correct, shouldn’t be a problem. We have done all by ourselves and had no issue. Some people who has contacted us after watching this video, had no issues so far

Hi, it depends on the city. As we are in Frankfurt, we definitely need an appointment to visit Bűrgeramt. Once you have an appointment, you get the document on the same day and after that you can start filling application with The Agency of family law. The obtained erweiterte Meldebescheinigung is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

Of course I have submitted my proof of single status. It is called erweitert Meldebescheinigung in German

We submitted it along with the application as this is one of the important document for their decision. If we try to wait them to ask, the process will take longer time. It is better to provide all the possible documentation during the application process.

I didn’t had any issue. We created a pdf file with all the scans. Is your file is bigger than the specified size?

I pay a company to do this for us and sent all the proof and all documents but they think we don’t have enough proof of relationship .

Cause I did sent I sent 50 photos with daily life and even social media prints with dates . I sent all documents and tickets he paid to visit me and still they told us we don’t have enough proof of relationship so this means they think we are a fake couple just base on race . We are together for 2 years
