Will be very interested in how the Trutrac goes. Unlike selectable lockers, the Trutrac will be working for you on and off road. Is there a Trutrac for a Prado 150? I have a 2019 GX and to me a Trutrac would compliment the TC system to give you an effective ‘locker’ without having to worry about airlines, actuators etc
I think the 150 setup is good enough and doesnt need any changing. Its mentioned in the video that 150 prado handles this well already, this upgrade is to bring hte Hilux "craption" control up to speed.
I'll save you time, factory bearings gave out at 220,000k but never take to toyota! They cut old bearings off instead of using special tool in press. Had constant leaking issues after until I invest in press tool and did them again myself. Axles where hacked up by angle grinder by Toyota maitland! I'll name them! Replaced both axles and will do it myself from now on, yeh I'll hardly ever use the press tool, but it's there and I'm confident in my own work.
