I can't believe I was 13-14 when 2.1 just came out, I am 20 now. It feels so long ago... I remember I joined at the end of the 1.9 era and 2.0 was just released, I immediatelly loved it! I remember the first 2.0 featured levels, I remember the 2.1 fanmades with the spider, I remember all these things, we were waiting so long for 2.1, and after a year and a half... we finally got it. It's funny thinking about it, since I remember the community was making memes about how 2.1 was never coming... heh, they didn't know 2.1 was the least of their worries. I'm so excited for this new era of Geometry Dash!
it's going to be insane. it's seriously crazy to imagine how much time has passed since these golden days, but you're definitely right this new era is about to be insane.
Fantastic video. November will mark the end of an era for this game, and this video perfectly encapsulates the community's activity throughout these nearly seven years.
We've really been in a golden age of level creation. Stuff like WHAT, Tidal Wave, Dimension Shift, the SPWN coding language, it's really incredible what the community has been able to do in such a limited editor. I can't wait to see what the best creators in the game can do with the new stuff being added
Good video with nice editing and some of C418’s masterpieces. My only criticism is that only like 3 non-extreme demons were mentioned in the video, Future Funk, HOW and WHAT, when I think that there are many other highlights besides that. Also, I appreciate the RGB love

It's been an amazing journey with you all. I've been in GD since May 2017 and the things I've seen from the community is just breathtaking. Sure, I'm a nobody in the community, but I've always felt like I was a part of something big. And as for RobTop, he's my most respected game dev I know. Despite his terrible time management, he's brought as a gift we'd never think we get.
