@@seanguzy9601 it's a mistake if it's the 2nd inning. It's not a mistake in this scenario. If he gets to third base the chances of him scoring are miniscule. It was a calculated risk to go for the tie cause it was gonna be hard to get another chance.

@@rutabagaleroy I agree. On that point, being fair, The Main Fox Network(not FS1) did show the Orioles/Rangers game 3 from Texas on Tuesday night. Plus a couple of games in the LCS. With that said, at least 1 playoff game from the wild card to the LCS should be on a major over the air network ie Fox or ABC/ESPN.
The tv contract between 1996-2001 was ideal. That is when Fox, ESPN and NBC had at least 1 every post season game and every LCS and World Series was on free over the air network TV. Let TBS/TNT, FS1, ESPN should only show the afternoon games(being simulcast on the 2 teams free over the air channels)

I would like to mention Jim Thome, when he signed with the Phils it was really sign for me that the Phils ready invest into winning. I know he did not win with this group...it just seem to change my outlook. One more player Aaron Roland, will never forget him crashing into the CF wall...
I just loved the Phils teams from 2004-2011 they were fun to watch. The last 3 years with the Phils and the 93 season just also fun to watch Phils teams.
The thing that Pedro is missing about the philly faithful chanting for strider was because he says he prefers games with no fans and wants no fans there. It’s not about saying we’re going to swamp you its saying hey we’re going to be the loudest crowd you’ve ever seen
That interview was taken out of context strider was clearly joking and was laughing the whole time. People do this stupid stuff where they hear something and believe it in a negative since
It most certainly was not. He spoke out again, this time saying 'no lower bowl' seating, no fans near the dugouts but fans in the outfield is OK.

Told my Phillies loving nephew after the Phillies lost game two in Atlanta that they needed to hit 5 home runs in their two home games to beat the braves. Never saw my bums hit 6 home runs in a single game. Hope Harper can hit a homer in game four. Might have been first time Ace Nola had three good outings in a row this season. Hope he finishes the season not loosing another game.

Im from ATL, fan since '91, i show up... been through a few coaches but im over Snit guys. I think he's a nice guy, but thats partially the problem. Too soft on the boys. Soft in general. Not fooled by his face.

I will sadly slow point at Snit for steadily playing second string roster during most key games, instead of the primary leaders.

It's not that heavy. Y'all acting like Arcia was a cornerback that got burned by a wide receiver. A second baseman has no bearing on the success or failure of a homerun. As most baseball extracurriculars, this is a nothing story.
Have to disagree with you guys on this one. We need to realize that as adults and these men professional atheletes need to set the example for the youth ball players that are watching. Hope we don’t see stare downs next year in the LLWS. Brice crushed the ball that should have been enough.
