This is the BEST cover of The Sound of Silence I’ve ever heard (and seen)! I'm 73 years old, and I've pretty much heard them all, including at a live concert of Simon & Garfunkel with The Everly Brothers. Well done!!
Wow great job! This song came out around Christmas time 1964 as it was the biggest thing on the radio at that time. Five years later at about midnight, or maybe later, I walked into the Lighthouse Cafe on the east end of Bismarck, ND with two friends. I was carrying my 1960 Gibson Hummingbird with me as I never left it unattended in a car. Simon and Garfunkel were in the there -- they were on tour and were playing in town the next day. I could not believe my eyes. Garfunkel saw the us and the case and asked what's in it? I showed him the H-bird only a few years old at the time -- after saying some nice things about my axe -- he started strumming it and they launched in to an impromptu albeit short version of the "Sounds of Silence" for me and about 10 other customers in the restaurant that night. Thanks for the memory!!
Thank you. That was gor-or-geous. I already couldn't wait for your new record--and that was before I was locked in a house for six weeks and then heard that. You two are great.

We'll be back at it soon -- we were dealing with some extended health issues that have pretty much been resolved, so we're planning to post more in the coming months!

Good harmony
Y'all sound great together
True to the original melody, pure and simply arranged, and a brilliant performance.

Nice video, really nice recording. Forest's voice was just spot on here, especially in the higher register. This is a new favorite!
