I was looking for this. I was literally cleaning a horse trough and had the idea, I wonder if anyone's made a bluegrass version of sound of silence. I was not disappointed
Cleaning horse troughs can make your brain think of anything but cleaning the horse trough. I found a hand operated bilge pump that help a lot. You can remove the crud on the bottom without bailing out the entire 80 gallons. #gotlandponies
@@ericshi2472 Your English is NOT poor. I've been trying to play the banjo for years (I started late in life) I listen to this arrangement and it is so well done. Hope you have the best success. You guys are VERY talented.
larry lee I started to learn banjo after I was 30 years old until I met my banjo guru Sab watanabe and very late too .I've played guitar for around 20 years before I learn banjo.Thank you for your encouragement,I'll keep trying!
As someone who lives in Alabama, USA, being in the Southeastern part of my Country, Bluegrass is very well known by all here.I thank you so much forr playing my favorite song. And Yes.. We like the second part to be played very fast. GOOD JOB!!
Excellent! You are the first person I know that plays banjo professionally in China and you do it so beautifully! We are also very impressed with your new book written in Chinese "Five-string bluegrass banjo method". We wish you prosperity and success in both playing and teaching 5-string banjo in China and sharing the joy. Keep on picking!
Have to say more. I watched three time in a row. I play and listen to American Bluegrass. I LOVE hearing your music. The native harmony of China. The restraint and buried passion of it makes it all so much more intoxicating. Thank you. I've subscribed and will follow your music!
Well, not an improvement on the original, although I doubt they intended it to be. But I have to give them a thumbs up for not being afraid to experiment and interpret. And what they do, they do well.
This is hands down the most unique cover of this I have ever heard. I love it!
Beautiful!
You guys are amazing!
Thank you for sharing 👍

Does anyone know the song being played when the credits are rolling?
What part of the Appalachian mountains do you guys hail from? Kentucky, Tennessee or Carolina 🤨
Simon and Garfunkel really messed up by not having this banjo in their version. 👍🇸🇪🇺🇦
喜欢这样的编曲!好听!
Chao Tian 感谢!我一直尝试蓝草和流行音乐的结合,希望更多亚洲人也喜欢上蓝草和班卓琴音乐
@@ericshi2472 可以私信联系介绍关于更多的班卓在中国的发展!或许我们可以合作一些活动。

Nice food ;)
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I liked this video despite myself
Can you imagine China and the U.S. cooperating for the benefit of the world? It could happen...
Around 1.49 this hits its straps. Before it is reverential like 99% of the covers. It's the nature of the piece. It can be a dirge.
Are you based in Beijing?
I’m based in the south of china, close to Shanghai.
holy shi
sounds like the guitar has a string off tune
Eric Shi is an amazing artist. I just subscribed and look forward to seeing more of your work.
