The only big question for me at the moment is how to add speech and have the Metahumans speak as naturally as Speechelo speaks, and thus read any text like it does.
UE5 Meta human “Soul” add on would make for a great addition to the Meta human program. Given each character its own A.I. personality and characteristics. ( Open A.I. GPT-3 )
Fucking insane. I didn't even realize the were CGI until he started changing things. I thought they were human models you could manipulate. Absolutely incredible. No matter how much he zoomed, the illusion remained seamless.
this will ease the game and movie industry production
This looks like magic...
and looks scary too
I need this to truly see how my characters actually look.
Dude... Even though this is for games, I imagine writers would abuse the hell out of this. I know I will.
Hope it goes well for you man.
I'm on it! I don't play videogames but as a person who loves character design this is fire.
I'm making all my anime husbands too.
Nothing is stopping you from using Unreal Engine to make short to full length films, or illustrated stories/comics.
I will. For sure.
@@curatedxkris71 Its not even very hard mate. You can archieve a good looking short movie in some weeks if you really want to and binge watch yt vids. Try out Mixamo for free animations or go straight for mocap if you have the money for it.
I created myself on the early access of meta human, thw graphics are AMAZING, realistic who?
My new adversary in future nightmares: LOD7
Reminds me of the characters in Detroit: Become Human. Loved how realistic they looked compared to other games.
Best game ever!
I would just make a character from a book I’ve read. Like Doctor Sleep or Borne. Or from stories that I’ve made myself. I find it more interesting to make something from words rather than an actual image of something, though of course you would have to use images to make that something look grounded in our reality 😂
Wow, ReadyPlayer1 was really previewing the metaverse this whole time!
It would be cool to design all types of age groups with this, including elderly & children.
I’d also want to create still poses, and put together entire scenes that include props.
It's interesting to see so many non-game devs in the comments. I like this. It means the player community wants to understand our tools.
This is what i expected to see in Cyberpunk 2077😂
Hahaha, Cyberpunk 2077 does have some really cool options though. Those crazy looking eyes, tattoos, scars, gold teeth oh and the penis modifier, obviously, that's the best addition lol.
If Travis says its fantastic, I'm excited
Hahaha thank you Brandon. Still early days for Metahumans but at it's core it is indeed fantastic.
4:05 me when I set the alarm for one hour later at 6 am
Thank you Travis! As an electronic music producer I am looking for unique ways to create music videos - so this is great!
I hope the rig can be used on custom characters, would be so awesome
I'm really excited about this technology !
Metahumans - the actors directors always wanted. In five years humans will have been replaced in every movie.
yea just generate a human animate it throw in a voice generated with an AI that sounds realistic and done
Mass Effect Andromeda needed this
This is some next level shit!
Indeed!
wow the graphics and animations are so realistic. shame games can't be like this though
Best character software in time when good videocards are unavailable.
The hair alone looks insane and the eyelashes like how, just how?
Me *after finally completing my 16 hour introductory tutorial on Xgen*: Yes! I can finally try to do so hair car-
Metahumans *exists*
Me: I wonder if the tip of that double barrel shout-gun will fit in my mouth
I salute you for actually knowing how to create 3D hair. Now you'll actually be able to create your own unique hairstyles that nobody else can create so it's a very useful skill. Hair is difficult and drives me crazy so more respect to you for learning how to create 3d hair.
There are some realtime haircard generator now, no need of xgen.
Xgen is a good skills though if you want to create real hair, not cards, and do renders. Otherwise you're saving much much more time on those hair card generator. We have to follow the evolution of CGI!
@@hugoleger4675 any suggestions?
@@hugoleger4675 which program generates real time hair cards?
Good old brushing the teeth with a shotgun routine. Lol . To be honest , this tech is changing faster than we can learn the next.
Absolutely outstanding........god imagine what the next couple of levels of graphics cards'll be able to do. :)
10:00
this will be my face when I see the price
Lmao!
Unreal Engine & related tools... Simply cutting edge since 1996 or whenever Unreal came out and showed us how amazing games could look even if your PC wasn't top of the line. Its almost unbelievable how prolific this engine is compared to all the rest IMO. Its like more games were made on UE than there are grains of sand on Earth.
I like my female Sleazy and athletic, Brunette. Now it's time to get my ass to Mars because I choose the spy package.
Wow....end product looks beautiful....
One of these days, a robot is going to 3D print them a whole robot body and download their AI personality to it. No one will know the difference as they blend into society.
I will print myself an cute gf waifu.
NPC's will take revenge of their fallen brothers in GTA :0
Clearly never used an actual 3D printer.
The first 3 times it tries to print out said body would be failures and bad supports.
And by the time they can make one SOMEONE would have noticed during said super long print.
This is some dangerous tech in the wrong hands, crazy realistic
If they implement the same level of precision and smoothness to the rest of the body we could make some absolute STELLAR smut.
check out virtualmate
Illusion games has been doing 'stellar' grade cell shaded bodies for a long time.
So I Did this and Modded my Face into a Bunch Games already 🔥
I made Satoru Gojo from jujutsu kaisen. I'm crying. He's so beautiful
Remember that final fantasy movie that came out in like 2001? Video games have surpassed that level of graphic fidelity. And I think they did it like 4 or 5 years ago lol. It’s insane how far we’ve gone in 20 years. This is blowing my mind
gonna create AI helper for myself, based on chatbot, with this model :) then i can say to parents about " relax, i have a relationships"
Wow.. Great work Travis😎😁
Detroit: Become MetaHuman
This is the best part of the video 4:48
And so is this 6:17
I will make my waifu :D
Happy waifu making!
Something like this for Anime characters and I´ll die of happyness :)
@@RSProduxx Vroid Studio
@@edenassos hm, I tried it already...
Metahuman seems quite a bit more sophisticated... But maybe I´m just too stupid, might try to dive deeper at some point...
Looks so easy to use, hope they release some sort of equally friendly posing software alongside it, for us noobs who aren't too familiar with 3D programs.
100% we need a built in posing tool, I would love that!
with such engine capability, I'm temped to make an Asian female with all Caucasian male facial structure, has black skin, and natural blonde hair, ...and call her miss International
Woooow, I wish Rockstar Games would let us create our caracters in GTA6 like this. so that they would look 90% like us the players. it would be very great and fun.
some ppl say this is creepy, but I mean idk bruh this seemed soooo real its like 8.2% left till it reaches pure realism but obviously we can always improve
Science can do this and people still don't believe in it. Fantastic stuff! This paired with Character Animator! C'mon!
Hey I didn't know Marcus Smart is in this, looking good
Catwa in Second Life has implemented a lot of these features in their latest HD Pro head. Love it.
I know this gotta be a risk in the future but it looks so cool
The ultimate THE SIMS creator
People will look back at this in 10-20 years and be fascinated about how so powerful computers were required to "only" display images like this.
Fifa needs this!!
I think Pes 22 will use this
Thanks for the video; ive been trying to figure this stuff out...
Wow this is exactly what I need, love it.
The human as self is perfect in all variatons
WOW INCREDIBLE!!! KONAMI NEED TO ADD THIS EDITING SYSTEM FOR PES 2022
This is insane I’m sitting here looking at this video like 😮😲
That is the type of graphics I want in City of Heroes.
Than you so much for this video, it just solved a problem of mine
I love these anchors
Thts a great walkthru mate, really helpful as I was new to this stuff.. thankyou :)
My pleasure :)
I would love to see this in SL and Sims!
I'm on SL as well, I would never get off of SL if my Avi looked this good
You and me both. 😆
