🎉🎉 much appreciated and great video! Here are a few notes for those interested. Batch three is coming up, and here are the planned changes:
New Caps - pipette is going away.
New binder for Goons Grime, Dystopian Brown, Sector Rust, and Decay of Death for a more beginner friendly formulation.
The idea behind the current binder on Villainy Ink Enamels was to be able to have the colors mentioned above to be able to dry anywhere from glossy to matte. The learning on this is steep, however, so I will make the change to accommodate.
As a final note, I will say that Villainy Ink, particularly Goons Grime, were not intended to be Ak Replacement and essentially works differently. Buuuuut... this color range has blown up far beyond what I expected, and all sorts of folks are now trying out enamel for the first time or looking to replace AK with Villainy Ink due to their much lower levels of toxicty 😅. So we hit a far broader audience than expected.
So batch 3 should be exactly what people are looking for: much easier to handle, lowest toxicity in the enamel market, FUN! 😊😊
    Thanks again! 🎉

Honestly $12 for a nice enamel wash is a decent price if you’re doing grimdark quite a bit. Plus they’re nicer to use than AK because they’re a bit thicker and don’t just run everywhere.
And frankly if you can’t afford to spend some cash on paints or airbrushes then maybe this hobby isn’t for you

I'm a massive fan of the grim dark style. Oils and enamels are liberating and I hardly used streak and grime. Dark wash is my go to despite the chalkiness. I'm painting Blissarb Archers so I'm fine tuning "Clean Dark" and villainy inks ichor of the damned is amazing for that balance. The Feral Painter does some amazing work with them and show cases different techniques. Yeah it's expensive but so much more flexible than AK washes. I'll be ditching my previous washes for Villainy inks. You did miss out on some important info with what makes them superior over enamel washes. I do think that the comparison is chalk and cheese due the formula of Villiany Inks.
