I started listening to radio again to find out who it was; I didn't have internet, smartphone, etc. and was not doing well at the time.

The human voice - the most powerful instrument there is, and the hardest to master. In my opinion this guy is one of a handful that has it all to become what he already is - a true superstar!
It's amazing how real they are, you can see something so true in them, like how nervous they are in the beginning but then the outcome is absolutely beautiful.
Jeez! They make it look so damn easy! The musicianship is unreal and love his voice. I could watch them play for hours. It truly looks like they're having fun the entire time start to finish. Fabuloso.
Seriously. Brian's charm is unrivaled, and his chemistry with everyone in the band is just amazing. One of few bands where the live performances are better than just the studio versions for the sake of all the banter you get with it.

The pit always gives me an Island of Dr Moreau kind of vibe. After 8 years i think it's safe to say this is my favorite silversun performance, along with brian being brian.
I've spent the past 10 months or so thinking the lead singer of this band, who I only recently came across, was a woman. Never saw any photos or looked up anything on them. His voice just sounded like a woman's voice. What do you know? I still like them.
Saw them last year at the Aragon, I'm assuming that's the show you were talking about. I have video up. There were a lot of audio issues and I was right next to some jerk but the band was ON FIRE. Sarah got so much props for someone filling in for a lot of people's favorite band member.

When I heard them as in their recordings on their new albums, I thought it was so bad and taken over by the same ol 'indie' vibe with all the electronic stuff. But acoustically, It's great. Which restores my belief that they are still a great band writing great emotional songs. Just are being fuckin controlled by producers.
I definitely think some of the magic of these songs gets lost due to over-production, but I think that was mostly their choice to go more in an indie pop direction.
What the? Whay are people complaining about dislikes? There is only 18! And anyways, people are able to have different taste from other people. Shocking, right?
I'll always love this band. I wish they would go with a more raw sound again! A lot of these songs from their last two albums are more enjoyable in there acoustic sets. Kissing families forever lol

Personally, I feel like Brian sounds similar to Josh Klinghoffer vocally, and that the Neck Of The Woods album sounds alike to Dot Hacker.
