Oh my gosh! I just stumbled across this video of yours. You made me cry happy tears! I am incredibly honored to be included, what a phenomenal list of inspiring woman, including YOU! Thank you for everything you are doing to encourage, inspire, educate and support motorcyclists everywhere! ❤️🤗 you’re awesome, just sayin’
If I need an inspiration all I need to do is look at my wife. She started riding in 2015 and has not stopped adventuring. We have ridden to Sturgis from long Island done the Badlands and the prairies of Iowa, ridden the Blue Ridge Parkway from end to end (twice!), done the bourbon trail, hit the Tail of the Dragon, the Back of the Dragon, , ridden to Vermont and Maine and done the Rockies (Million Dollar Highway) .. she is a rock! She started on a Yamaha V-Star 650 and is now riding a 2017 Harley Heritage Softail ... she's fearless.
Thank you so much for sharing the love within this small community. You're a gosh dang rock star Amanda!! I seriously appreciate the kind words... most of these ladies are absolute legends. I hope one day to be more like them. We've got a responsibility to pave the way for new women riders. Let's keep showing them what this life is all about ❤
Of course!! You work your freaking tush off lady, and you were one of my heroes before I met you at BRO 5 :P I count myself lucky to call you one of my friends now
U r so right! I never thought of putting myself oh TH-cam - a little scary!- but I’m hoping to inspire more women too. I just never see many women ( as compared to the number of men) on bikes! I mean driving their own. Even our race club here in Colorado- at the height of participation about 5 years ago it was 11 women racers out of almost 200 total! Now it’s only a couple.
Holy wow... 😍 incredibly honored to be included among so many ground-breaking and fearless ladies. Thank you Amanda, you're a big time inspiration here (and probably for many of the same women you're shouting out, too!) ❤️🙏
My wife inspires me! She’s been riding a motorcycle for only a year now. We got her a BMW G310GS “Baby GS” because it fits her long legs and is light and easy to handle. We only go out together with me coaching through our communicators. She’s constantly pushing outside her comfort zone and has a long way to go. But she’s doing it! She’s made tremendous progress and loves the challenge. I’m a very proud hubby.
Two motorcycle heroes of mine are the Van Berun sisters, Adeline and Augusta Van Berun. They are considered to be the first women to ride across the USA. The year was 1916. GPS? There wasn't even much in the way to road maps or road signs at that time. And much of what passed as roads in 1916 would be called off road today. Why did they do it? We were getting close to entering what we now call WW1. They were trying to demonstrate that women could play a role in the war effort by being motorcycle couriers. True heroes.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this video! Omg I just started following so many amazing channels I never knew about!! I am BEYOND shook to have made the list among some seriously BAD ASS ladies in this video! Literally about choked while watching and you said my name! 😂 You are such a gem Amanda! Thank you for everything you do and the beauty you bring to this platform and community!
Some impressive ladies there. A rider I've always admired was a British trials rider called Olga Kevelos. She rode in the late 1940's and all through the 50's. At a time when Women in Britain were supposed to be at home looking after the man! She competed in the ISDT( One of the toughest off-road trials) for a few years, often riding to the event on underpowered and unreliable machinery, competing and then riding home again. There isn't a huge amount of info available about her but someone recently wrote a book titled ' Playing with the Boys' which has managed to piece together a lot of interesting stuff. A Vlogger who I also find very entertaining is ' The Aussie and the Indian'. She's a sixty year old lady who rides a large Indian motorcycle around Australia. She's not afraid to put in big miles each day and has an engaging personality. Nice vid Amanda and it's not even Sunday.😈😀
!! I wish there was place to go on the internet to learn about all the incredible un-sung lady riders from the '10s-'50s! How cool with that be?! Thank you for turning me onto Olga Kevelos and the book! My grandmother used to do cross country enduro races in the 60s-70s! She's also one of my heroes but she's kind of camera shy lol Just looked up the Aussie and the Indian, and I already love her lol Thanks Ed! XD
In tears, I give you my most heartfelt gratitude for making this video! I am inspired by some of these women and of course by you, but didn't have them all in a list with links to get to them! I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH! My TH-cam feed/ search has NEVER supplied me with all of these ladies' channels and now I have their social media info/channels...which means I can watch and learn!
Wow! That was very informative, didn't have a full clue of all web/lady riders. I love watching yours & Itchy Boots when I have down time. Thank you so much, Amanda! To all of Us Lady Riders: Peace, Freedom and Strength Love Positive Vibes 😊👍🏍 Ride Safe and Enjoy the Ride!
I'm so glad I could introduce you to a few more! There are honestly SO MANY I want to highlight but that would make a very long video haha Thanks Indianbell
I'm obviously not a lady however I've watched most of these wonderful women and their adventures kicked me up the bum to get out and do more adventure riding. Earlier this year I picked up my R1200GS Adventure and rode it about 3,500kms (~2,200 miles) home. It's now got new offroad boots on and I'm heading back out with a group to gain more confidence on the big girl, before tackling the daunting Canning Stock Route next year with some friends. You girls are an inspiration, especially to my daughter and wife, but also I suspect, many blokes out there. Bravo, and thanks!
Hi I am new to your channel, came over from Doodle on a motorcycle. It is heart warming to see the genuine love towards one another. Thank you great video.
This is one of the greatest blogger videos I've seen. I follow a couple of these women but will add alot more now. I have now watched 4 or 5 of your videos and you too are an inspiration to me. Thanks for what you do and safe travels in your future endeavours. Cheers from BC, Canada. Subbed!
Awesome video. She's new, but Jackie's Moto Garage has been very inspirational for me. She's a new rider and a mom. Her videos showcase her journey to becoming an efficient rider while juggling busy family life with her husband and children. I am a full time working single father with two awesome kids that is also just starting my motorcycle journey. It's definitely a challenge to get out and ride when it's just me and my clones, so I relate a lot with her on the "finding time to ride" front. Her fearlessness and willingness to just get out there and ride any bike she can, regardless of her short stature is quite inspiring to a short guy like me with difficulty finding bikes to sit on comfortably. Being short can make a simple ride on a taller bike feel quite precarious. Seeing her do it and give her thoughts on the ride definitely puts me at ease with riding bikes that are clearly made for much taller riders.
Thanks Christopher! Jackie is rad! :) If you haven't already check her out Jocelin Snow is also a short rider who has mastered the art of handling bikes that are tallll. Links to her socials are in my description! She's also in the new NEBDR (Backcountry Discovery Route) Film :)
It's awesome that you mentioned Jess (her two wheels) I started following her when she had less then 800 subscribers. In fact it was her recommendation that brought me here to your channel. But it's been your content that got me to subscribe. I just finished watching your "Pilgrimage" videos and have recommended you to my wife and several friends who I believe will truly enjoy your channel. Best of luck to you, and keep up the awesomeness!
👊 You are the best kind of woman! Always lifting up and highlighting other women, and I love that so many you spoke of could be described as having a great attitude ! That's my experience with women riders, they're so positive and really just love the ride ! Thanks for continuing to make the best content and being part or this ever growing community of badass women riders and content creators! You've inspired me to do another video .... soon ;) xoxoxo Thanks for the shout out!
I would list them but you already named them all. All though there is a new women just starting out on youtube called Ginger Dash. I hope I got that name write. she is riding a 250 cc bike. I have watched about half the women you named on youtube. A big thumbs up from me to all the women that are stepping outside the norm as well as their comfort zone.
Amanda Zito inspires this almost 61 year old male to want to see even more of America than I have. I already watch Itchy Boots, Her Two Wheels, Doodle on a Motorcycle, and of course As the Magpie Flies. All of the ladies I watch have great attitudes, I am sure the ones on the list do to. It doesn't matter if they cry, get a little angry, or get sad they always seem to find a way to make every situation bright. Even when they break their wrist many miles from help. I watched one video where the young lady smiled through the pain. Yes, it is our own Amanda Zito. Thank You to all the ladies out there that make videos that all of us can enjoy.
Thanks Magpie, Great list of girls there. I had the pleasure of meeting Kinga and Jocelin in Mongolia in 2018. Such good riders and decent people. I have sent this clip to my gorgeous daughter, she is 14, a writer and a rider. Thanks for promoting more girls on bikes.
@@AstheMagpieFlies not envy, Inspired. Many people are watching your content and being inspired by you. Keep up the great work. Btw, love the film making tips. Very handy.
Makes me wish I could ride like a girl :) Don't forget Megs Braap: another woman rider who doesn't let her size stop her from doing big things on a bike. Thank you for the list - there are definitely some women here whose work I need to go seek out. Thx! BTW, you're on my list of inspiring women riders and creators. It's been inspiring to watch your evolution in production values rise with your experience. Not to mention the endless creativity of topics. Thank you so much for your channel.
You forgot to add Amanda Zito to the list of women who inspire others to get out there and do the thing !!! Amanda helped me get my confidence back. She is humble. Amanda offers common sense advice. The type of person you just want to bring out a bottle of bourbon and have a good time.
I'm a guy and I've always believed in the power of women since I was a kid in the 1950's. I've raised my daughter to KNOW that she can do anything she puts her heart into. I read Elspeth Beard's book right after it came out and I will read it again in the near future...just as soon as I get it back from my daughter. I really like your video and this is the first of many that I will watch. I saw you on Her Two Wheels recently. You're both great.
Thanks so much Boomer Guy! :D It's good to know there's more wonderful fathers encouraging their daughters to do whatever they put their minds to! Stoked to have you on board with the Magpie Fam!
@@AstheMagpieFlies I forgot to mention that when my daughter was diagnosed with a learning disability in grade school and her teacher told her to accept the fact that she would never be an A-B student, I told her to take that as a challenge. I have the same learning disability and didn't even know that it had a name, so I knew what she was going through. I reminded her that the tortoise on the race against the hare. These "speed-bumps" in life just make you stronger. She graduated with honors, is currently an EMT with a bachelor's degree, working on her way to becoming a Physician's Assistant. She saves lives. She makes me proud and I tell her so, every day.
And to give a shout out to my personal hero (heroine?) - Ardys Kellerman. Died far too young in a moto crash at age 81. 2 years earlier, she was a recipient of BMW's Million Mile Award. She's only one of many women in the LD "Endurance" Riding community who I regard with a certain amount of awe.
💯 You!! I watched your Pilgrimage series twice and it gave me the final push I needed to get out there for solo trips. Life changing! Thank you & for highlighting/linking to so many fantastic ladies. 🏍❤🏍❤🏍❤
Thx for that list, very helpfull. As a lifelong motorcyclist I always regreted that I usually couldn´t share my biggest passion with women. Most of them were reluctant and carefull, which was - as I understood later - at least partially because their male friends were all about competition and showing off their superior skills while riding. I was the same until I realized that this is a little stupid. So I´m very happy about a new generation of women´s riders who just do it. I am pleased to say that in Europe there are quite a few women´s social media channels who encourage other people - not just women of course - to go out and seek adventures. I´d like to mention two of my favorites: Leah Riek from Switzerland @Got2Go on youtube, who produces englisch videos and Ann-Kathrin Bendixen @Affe auf Bike. She´s from Nothern Germany, totally crazy on driving the most difficult routes all over the world and publishes mostly German content. Good riding, ladies and gentlemen! Greetings from Munich/Germany and I´ll meet you all on the road!
Amanda, you and all of the beautiful 2 wheeled angels are my inspiration & motivation to get back on 2 wheels and get out to explore the dirt and blacktop! You ladies have been so great to watch, learn from and be motivated to get rolling. I stumbled on Kinga and Noraly's channels several years ago in the despair of my divorce and drug me thru it and have helped me to look forward to something better. Now when my kids are with the evil ex I jump on the Adventure and go find a track somewhere and see where the wind blows. Thank the Gods for you 2 wheeled angels!!
What an awesome list! I follow some of the women you listed but now I have a ton more to watch and follow their adventures. Thank you for listing their links in the description. I want to also thank you for being such an amazing resource of inspiration and knowledge for me as I start out on my motorcycling adventure. Be safe out there!
Love this! As a dad of 3 girl humans - I am so encouraged by this. Love your content - as well as many of these outstanding creators that you've mentioned here!
Nicely done. We all should pay homage from time to time to those who inspire us. So many people I haven’t heard of and if I were to judge a book by its cover I bet they all have amazing stories to tell. I’m super curious to learn about Elspeth story. Thanks for the awesome video 😃
As the Magpie Flies This video, and you have really inspired me. I watched the 3 part series of the interview with Elspeth. You talked about her book in another video, “Lone Rider”. I bought the audio version and I’m looking forward to it. I love history and some untold stories. After watching Elspeth interview, I began googling. I found so many interesting woman riders in history. Effie and Avis Hotchkiss, Bessie Stringfield, Gloria Struck. I also found a brand ambassador for HD, Seeja Mathews, who was the first woman in India to own a HD. It’s a long weekend here in Canada. So as you can tell my weekend has been filled with research and diving deep into some amazing history. I sincerely thank you for my weekend entertainment :-)
Of my top 10 favorite channels, 5 are on this list (you included). One other lady I look forward to is The Geared Raven, she puts together some great videos that highlight the ride and destination.
WOW, Amanda, what a list of amazing women! I'm already a huge fan of Doodle, Killswitch Queen, and MotoKari and look forward to delving into the rest of these inspiring ladies. Thank you so much for sharing, and I hope you are doing well. Strangely, working from home and staying inside, I've felt like I have less time. Not sure how that works. As for other women who inspire, YOU are definitely one! And that's not brown-nosing (I can't help that I was born with a nose that color). But seriously, it's not a coincidence that you are drawn to so many positive, creative and inspiring people because you are that to so many. I also want to mention
AW! Thank you! :3 lol I feel that! I feel like I'm just as busy as I was before XD Except more lazy since I haven't been able to do anything I normally would be doing!
Thank You for this, I am so very new to motorcycle world. I mean so very new, but I love to see how other women are on a bike. It makes me feel like I can really do this. I want to bad to be able to do well as I am learning. Keep being an inspiration to so many. Stay safe and Keep riding!!
I pleased to see I subscribed these channels as well, with one more of course, Amanda Zito. She’s funny, down to earth, and always tells me that is ok to make mistakes and learn form them.
I just watched this Again after watching your current video of On Her Bike. Think I'm just putting off editing a video??? End Screen Crew - Rosie Gabrielle was also an inspiration to me. If that pint sized skinny little thing who sometimes can't flat foot her bike can do what she has done certainly I can go ride around on the blacktop roads of the USA. I had a lot of fear stepping out of the NORM and you all helped me get a grip. Thank you for continually supporting me just with your regular content. Now I need help to stop watching other people's videos so I can go edit my own, haha. Thank you.
Amanda, Must confess I was not aware of many of these ladies, but an impressive list, for sure. IMHO, You and Itchy Boots top the list. You for your honesty, humor and diversity of topics and wine chats; Noraly for the range of her adventure and constant optimism and sense of joy and.... well as a fellow geologist, how an I not love Itchy Boots. I was watching a geology class on line yesterday with a simultaneous chat going on. Someone chatted how great the prof was in explaining the geology, and someone else came in, "You think he's good, you should watch Itchy Boots!" As you said, she has EXPLODED with nearly a half million subscrs!! Now you have me daydreaming though, "how can I get my bike to Antarctica.. I mean "freakin' Antarctica"
What, well, you are an inspiering woman Amanda!! I will have my daughter watch yours and Itchy Boots videos from the bottom up to get her interested in motorbikes and to get another perspective on/of life in general :-) Super big thanks for sharing your thoughts and making the videos!!
End crew here. The two women riders that inspire me are you of course & any woman on a bike. I appreciate people who do the atypical thing. Great video, as usual. I’m gonna check out some of the folks you showcased here:-) peace PS - as a feminist male I am hesitant to “intrude” on all female stuff, I want to give respect & space. I’m reading Lone Rider ASAP, buying it in a couple minutes. As a BMW lover (especially the older models) & a rtw enthusiast this book sounds like perfect summer reading!!! Bless you Amanda. There is a 99% probability that I will be doing the Colorado BDR August 2021, it would be cool to meet up :-)
Darn you, I almost clicked the computer Shut Down button when I saw this video. I got burned out and quit my job 8/19. Months of trying to find something to make me happy, and the answer was, I'm happiest when I'm riding a motorcycle. That started a search for a bike that is me. I saw On Her Bike, Itchy Boots, and Rosie on Royal Enfields out in the middle of now where and they never let them down. Then I started watching them because, and I don't mean to be crude, they have more balls than I do. All the different countries they have to navigate, let alone the terrain. I was at one time thinking of buying a CB500X which is how I found Megan Kaptein and what stunningly professional videos. Her very first video put me in tears. How brave to share something so deeply personal and for her first video. Itchy Boots was the one I watched during isolation from the very first video through about number 220. I like her style, riding alone, staying away from crowds, it's more about the ride and not parties and tourist attractions. And Ms Magpie? She's a bit of a mix of everyone and after watching this video I see why.
I have been thinking about starting to do some videos about my motorcycles. Only problem (i think) is that i can't film any go pro style videos :/ I have Kawasaki Z1 900 from 1974, and in spring we are going to get rust out of the tank. Something like that would be worth of filming. I have CB650r what i ride, the Kawasaki is museum kind of bike, which I don't ride until I have enough experience about motorcycles. It is quite heavy and too important in mentally for me to crash :S
Lots of channels to check out here. I saw Elspeth present her new book , where she was interviewed by Lois Pryce. The discussion was fascinating. Anyone who talks down travel on small capacity bikes should take a look at Austin Vince’s two world trips :Mondo Enduro and Terra Circa. I Really enjoyed this video and I’m really looking forwards to checking the links.
You are top woman rider who inspires me. If I hadn't found you, my husband wouldn't have convinced me to get on the road. I hope one day our paths cross.
I love Rosie Gabrrielle! Sometimes she cries, sometimes, she laughs, sometimes she dances, and she drops her bike quite often. She also has a few health issues which make she body hurt so she is often in pain. Yet, no matter what comes her way, or how much her body hurts, she pushes forward.
Thank you for this list. Know about and have been following Itchy Boots since her first video until now but it is great to see the other great content makers as well.
Thank you for this great introduction to inspirational motorcycling women. You are also included in this list! Thank you for all your hard work and information.
That was a LONG LIST Amanda. We live in wonderful times (in spite of the current situation) and it is great that so many people are on two wheels. Even greater to see women dedicated to ADV touring (solo) long distance. These women have carved their names In the annals of motorcycling. They are all dedicated, experienced, skillful, talented and still alive. I subscribe to your channel and Itchy Boots because I value what you two bring to the sport. If you haven’t caught on yet, you are becoming famous in your own right. You need to add yourself to your own list of inspirational women because, you inspire me and a lot of other bikers as well. On a shoestring budget, fresh out of school, you jumped into motorcycling and from that moment on your life changed. You went from being a “motorcycle owner” To becoming a “BIKER”. I look forward to reading of your exploits and watching your videos. Stay safe Amanda... thank you for what you bring to the sport.
Yes, watched to the end ;o) how about Jackie from Jackies Moto Garage. A mom with 6 (yes 6) small children who started recently riding motorcycles and also has a real can do attitude! ItchyBoots is just a wonderful uplifting person. I got my teenaged daughters onto watching both Itchy Boots and your channel :o)
I love Lois on the Loose. What a great book! I should really get some more Moto adventure books right now. I also subscribe to Moto Kari and Amen Corner Rider. They’re pretty great and right here in Cali too.
Inspiring and beautiful video. Love how uplifting and supportive of women riders this is! This video does so much for our community. I want to go out and ride right this second!! ❤️❤️❤️
I actually don't have a lot of riders I'm subscribed to, and I think the women I follow are all listed on your list. My wife rides with me and is my inspiration. She's had a rough start to her motorcycle experience, dropping her first bike (CB400T Hawk) countless times (it might have been a little tall), crashing it once, and then wrecking my old Honda Shadow and spending our fifth wedding anniversary in the operating room and then the rest of that weekend in the hospital. After she recovered, she got back on a new bike, and we just bought her a CB500X so we can keep going on long trips together. She's also taken a few long trips by herself and is going to start commuting on the CB as soon as we have some luggage for it. Thanks for the list of new people to follow!
!!! What a legend! Never letting anything stop her! The women in our lives are some of the best 'influencers.' :3 My Grandma used to do cross country enduro races in the 60s-70s! So freaking cool. Thanks Bweizr!
Someone who has been inspiring for me is Renee Kornbluth. She has taught for the MSF Riding program at Fairleigh Dickenson College in NJ for years. She inspired my enthusiasm for riding and taught me, as well as hundreds of others!! Go Renee!!
I am just starting my riding journey at almost but not quite 50yrs. I happened by chance to find your channel and it is absolutely wonderful. This vlog is just what I needed, I have subscribed to all these wonderful inspirational women. Take care and safe travels, Kath from Australia 🇦🇺
And you!!! Awesome video, thanks for sharing! =) I already knew some of the channels (Itchy Boots and Her Two Wheels), but loved to learn about the others!! Can't wait to explore more!!
Started watching a young woman last year to learn about moto camping, she dances around, generally in a good mood, snapping wrist, the usual. Because of her now I want to go camping cross country. Feeling inspired and beautiful. ;)
AW! Thank you Lei! lol One Day I'll just make an hour long video so I can share all the women who ride who impact me XD I feel like I'm always having to leave someone out in lists like these for the sake of making content digestible lol
Thanks for sharing. Did you read "Hit the road, Jac" by Jacqui Furneaux? She made a journey in nearly all continents on an old style Royal Enfield Bullet 500.
My goodness, you are the Best for making this video, I needed this video, you inspire me and now I can see other women riders, Wooow thank you. We love you From Anaheim, California 😊💕💞💟👍
Yup love it. Thank you for turning me on to so many more women rider channels. I have been riding for 52 years. Hope to be riding for 52 more. I also love to read so I will be purchasing the books you mentioned. Keep the shiny side up
That’s a great share! If not for meeting Motolady too, I don’t think I would have tried getting on a Ducati Scrambler. And there are so many awesome lady riders out there in the world. Your work too continues to encourage and inspire me with adventuring and making art
Elspeth is an absolute legend. And a very talented woman! I follow Noraly too but thanks for a heads up on the others mentioned in your video. And thanks also to the YT algo for bringing me YOUR content. Keep safe.
Hi Amanda, I stumbled upon your YT Channel and I recognised you from a video you did with Tim from FTA Adventures. I never got around to checking your channel out through Tims links on his video so I’m now happy I found your channel. 👍👌
This is a great video, speaks to the diversity of the moto-community. About time women riders get more exposure and recognition, hopefully the motorcycle industry will catch up.
Great to hear that you found so much inspiration from other riders! It a good vibe that keeps on getting passed along. Have you ever checked out Anna Grechishkina here on TH-cam? She has been riding non-stop around the World since 2013 om her KTM 1190. You'd dig her.
I just subscribed to all the ladies you suggested. You are all a true inspiration of freedom. You would love The Tail of the Dragon in the Smokey Mountains and visit the Rattlesnake Saloon in Tennessee. I take that ride every year and it never get old.
Thanks mate for sharing this... it is great to get more content for me to explore enjoy and use for inspiration... I more often enjoy the attitude and perspective from a woman's view and experience when it comes to adventure. I will now subscribe to the huge list you have compiled, I just need to find the time to get out there more often myself......... cheers !!
Yayyy!! Congratulations on 7k, so well deserved, I admire your consistency without sacrificing quality! Especially now - that said, I hope your county is safe and can open up again soon - I'm sure you'll have 10,000 subscribers before you know it!
I'm inspired by Amanda Zito (As The Magpie Flies) and Noraly Schoenmaker (Itchy Boots). Inspiration is not bound by gender. Tim Collins, Ted Simon, Amanda Zito, and me. We're all human, yearning to enjoy our lives and this beautiful world. Keep up the good work!
I know you already said Lea Reick of GoToGo but her production style is fantastic and her Scandinavian tour led me to promise myself to take that trip too.
I really enjoyed reading: All the Gear, No Idea. by Michele Harrison. It's about a woman who explores India on a motorcycle. Thanks for another great video!
Well done Amanda, truly some remarkable women that inspire you. Hopefully you understand that you are part of that list. Keep those “knees in the breeze”.
Amanda, thank you so much for all your awesome clips, You are so real. One day hopefully you will reach CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA, and we can show you our beautiful Cape Town.
Excellent video as always. Some of the lady riders that inspire me do not have you tube channels. They are Mitten ladies that I putt with and are some real touch ladies. I would walk through hot coals and cut glass for them. I watch some of you recommended ladies like MotoKari and few others. One of your recommended channels I just can not watch but such is life. Just not my thing. I look forward to your videos every time they drop. You inspire me in so many ways of life. Your truly a gift to the 2 wheeled world. #LTC #supportmvc #unt
Thanks so much Nick :) A good portion of the ladies I mentioned in this video don't have youtube channels either XD No worries at all, not everyone's content is made for everybody! That's the beauty of diverse content :)
I was shocked my channel Big Als Compound was not mention in your post! Shocked! Oh wait I'm a guy. ha. Great job, i've just just Subscribed to one of the ladies on the list."On Her Bike" keep them coming!
Great content as always. So inteligent, mature and thoughtful you are! Looking towards the days when we can all get out and hopefully cross paths on the trails and roads sharing experiences.
Thank you very much Dale! Crossed fingers we can all get out again soon! Phase 1 Opening has already begun in a lot of counties! Here's hoping it goes well!
Amanda, thanks for the great compilation of inspirational women. I'm honoured to be a part of your shoutout there too.
Thank you Megan! :D Gotta spread the love! It was so hard not to make this video an hour long XD
Holy wow... 😍 incredibly honored to be included among so many ground-breaking and fearless ladies. Thank you Amanda, you're a big time inspiration here (and probably for many of the same women you're shouting out, too!) ❤️🙏
Kari Rocks.
Thank you greatly for featuring me in your video...I am honored. Cheers. -Danell
Of course!! Thanks for sharing your journey with us! :D
I’m a very proud hubby.
heck yes! :D Thanks Brad!
OF Course you're on this list!
You're a hard worker and you're consistent! It shows through in everything you produce.
As the Magpie Flies 😭😭😭🥰🥰🥰

She's also one of my heroes but she's kind of camera shy lol
Just looked up the Aussie and the Indian, and I already love her lol
Thanks Ed!
There are honestly SO MANY I want to highlight but that would make a very long video haha
Thanks Indianbell
Thanks for the shoutout! You inspire me! Ironically, I mentioned you, Doodle, and Itchy Boots in the video I put out today 😄
XD I JUST put it on my Watch Later List, I'll try and get to it tonight :P
You inspire this 70 year old male rider to get out on my Vstrom to explore more of my own beautiful country - New Zealand
Thanks so much for sharing!
Hi I am new to your channel, came over from Doodle on a motorcycle. It is heart warming to see the genuine love towards one another. Thank you great video.
Amazing to be in such good company! Thanks for this Amanda.
This is one of the greatest blogger videos I've seen. I follow a couple of these women but will add alot more now. I have now watched 4 or 5 of your videos and you too are an inspiration to me. Thanks for what you do and safe travels in your future endeavours. Cheers from BC, Canada. Subbed!
Thanks very much Curtis!
Welcome to the Magpie Fam! :D
AW! Thank you very much :3
👊 You are the best kind of woman!
Wow! Thank you Cynthia that means so so much to me.
Thanks Magpie,
Great list of girls there. I had the pleasure of meeting Kinga and Jocelin in Mongolia in 2018. Such good riders and decent people.
I have sent this clip to my gorgeous daughter, she is 14, a writer and a rider.
Thanks for promoting more girls on bikes.
Thank you so much Simon!
That is awesome!!! lol I may be a little envious over here!
I fan-freaking love this vlog lady!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 other fellow motovloggers to follow now. 🖤
You are so so welcome
And to give a shout out to my personal hero (heroine?) - Ardys Kellerman. Died far too young in a moto crash at age 81. 2 years earlier, she was a recipient of BMW's Million Mile Award.
She's only one of many women in the LD "Endurance" Riding community who I regard with a certain amount of awe.
💯 You!! I watched your Pilgrimage series twice and it gave me the final push I needed to get out there for solo trips. Life changing! Thank you & for highlighting/linking to so many fantastic ladies. 🏍❤🏍❤🏍❤
AWWWW! Thank you!! You're gonna make me cry!!
Had the pleasure of hosting Danell on her incredible journey. Definitely an awesome lady!
That's so cool!! :D
I always find your enthusiasm so infectious. Please never change my beautiful lady.
Yay! Thanks Travis! :D Glad I could introduce you to a few you may not have known about ;)
As the Magpie Flies This video, and you have really inspired me.
AW! Thank you! :3
lol I feel that!
If I could like this video 1.000 times, I would! Great content! Let's all keep uplifting and supporting each other as female motorcyclists!
I pleased to see I subscribed these channels as well, with one more of course, Amanda Zito. She’s funny, down to earth, and always tells me that is ok to make mistakes and learn form them.
lol! Thanks Marco! :D
Thank you.
How nice of you to put folks on to these amazing people. But, let us not forget As the Magpie Flies! You are a true inspirations, also!
AW! Thank you Chuck :3
AMAZING!!! Love this video sooo much. So I inspiring to see this!!! ❤🏍💪🏼
Thanks for sharing the love for these ladies many of whom I didn’t know about until now
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching it :)
End crew here. The two women riders that inspire me are you of course & any woman on a bike. I appreciate people who do the atypical thing. Great video, as usual. I’m gonna check out some of the folks you showcased here:-) peace
PS - as a feminist male I am hesitant to “intrude” on all female stuff, I want to give respect & space. I’m reading Lone Rider ASAP, buying it in a couple minutes. As a BMW lover (especially the older models) & a rtw enthusiast this book sounds like perfect summer reading!!! Bless you Amanda. There is a 99% probability that I will be doing the Colorado BDR August 2021, it would be cool to meet up :-)
Love the spirit of this video. For the record you and Tim were my inspiration to adventure travel. I love it.
Only problem (i think) is that i can't film any go pro style videos :/
I have Kawasaki Z1 900 from 1974, and in spring we are going to get rust out of the tank.
👌
Haha I had to resist making it much much longer!
haha Thanks Roger!
Great video, I had no idea. Awesome to all of you!
Thanks Mark!
You are so kind!! Thank you for mentioning me! ❤🙌🏼🏍
I love Lois on the Loose. What a great book! I should really get some more Moto adventure books right now. I also subscribe to Moto Kari and Amen Corner Rider. They’re pretty great and right here in Cali too.
Thanks Motogirlz :)
Inspiring and beautiful video. Love how uplifting and supportive of women riders this is! This video does so much for our community. I want to go out and ride right this second!! ❤️❤️❤️
!! Thank you! :)
SAME, all these ladies just make my feet itchin' to get back on the road!
Go Renee!!
🫶 I love this!
I am just starting my riding journey at almost but not quite 50yrs. I happened by chance to find your channel and it is absolutely wonderful. This vlog is just what I needed, I have subscribed to all these wonderful inspirational women. Take care and safe travels, Kath from Australia 🇦🇺
!!Thanks so much Katherine!! That is so awesome!
I was going to say”power to all you amazing ladies “ but then I realised , you all already have it. Inspiring brilliance.😁
Feeling inspired and beautiful. ;)
AWW
Another great list video! I’m aware of most of these women and their work, but now I have a few more channels to check out. Thanks!
Thank you Jeremy! :D
Another awesome video girl 👏🏽 Thanks for sharing and putting a spot light on even more badassery around the world! 🖤
Keep the shiny side up
Yay! Thanks Gerald!
Wow this is really awesome so many young ladies doing videos like this I'll spend enough time buku time on TH-cam watching all these beautiful people
That’s a great share! If not for meeting Motolady too, I don’t think I would have tried getting on a Ducati Scrambler. And there are so many awesome lady riders out there in the world. Your work too continues to encourage and inspire me with adventuring and making art
Yess!! She is so awesome!
Well thank you so much I'm stoked to welcome you to the Magpie Fam!
As the Magpie Flies you’re welcome Amanda, and thank you too.
This is a great video, speaks to the diversity of the moto-community. About time women riders get more exposure and recognition, hopefully the motorcycle industry will catch up.
Absolutely!
Great to hear that you found so much inspiration from other riders! It a good vibe that keeps on getting passed along. Have you ever checked out Anna Grechishkina here on TH-cam? She has been riding non-stop around the World since 2013 om her KTM 1190. You'd dig her.
I have! She's awesome :)
Thanks Amanda!! You are my inspiration! *Hugs*
AWW! Thank you Kris *hugs*
Awesome video mag! Thanks for being an awesome influence yourself.
Thanks guys! :)
Thanks again, that was great! Was only aware of half a dozen of these women. I've got some YT and dotcom catching up to do...
I just subscribed to all the ladies you suggested. You are all a true inspiration of freedom. You would love The Tail of the Dragon in the Smokey Mountains and visit the Rattlesnake Saloon in Tennessee. I take that ride every year and it never get old.
I just randomly started watching Kinga Girl on her bike and Noraly Itchy Boots I'm gonna survey your list to maybe follow one more 👍☮
On her bike and Itchyboots are my faves.Been following these inspirational ladies for ever.legendary.!!!
I follow these two, as well! It was cool when they sort of crossed each others' paths. (Location, not proximity to each other).
Thank you Lindsay!! Making Videos weekly is like the only reason I've been able to track what day it is XD
You are pretty awesome yourself! It has been really fun to watch you grow in skills and confidence since The Pilgrimage!
Thanks so much Hal!
Keep up the good work!
lol Thank you Michael!
Another book to add to my reading list!! Thanks Randy!
Wonderful Video Amanda!!
Well done Amanda, truly some remarkable women that inspire you. Hopefully you understand that you are part of that list. Keep those “knees in the breeze”.
Aw! Thank you William!
Amanda, thank you so much for all your awesome clips, You are so real. One day hopefully you will reach CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA, and we can show you our beautiful Cape Town.
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me!
Awesome suggestions here, my instagram and TH-cam feed now looks much better :)
Happy to help!
Thanks so much Nick :)
A good portion of the ladies I mentioned in this video don't have youtube channels either XD
No worries at all, not everyone's content is made for everybody! That's the beauty of diverse content :)
Struth so many, just blown my mind with them. And there's more ? Fasntastic, thanks :)
