I have a 2014 ES. 17K+ miles with no problems. For a commuter car/occasional trip car here in West Texas, it does the job fine for me.
Theres just something refreshing about this car, cant explain it but I like it alot! Also Mitsubishi Lancer was rated the #1 for reliability in England.
I like the reliability and simplicity of this car.
Yes, it hasn't had a major redesign in almost 10 years. However, the face lifts look good, and it doesn't look like every other car out there. It's also pretty damn reliable, from what I've read. I'm thinking of purchasing one of these pretty soon.
Are Mitsubishi cvt's good?
Lavancer, I didn’t purchase it after all. I purchased a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu, which also has a CVT. I’m always the minority when it comes to CVTs. In my opinion, they’re more of a pleasure to drive for many reasons, but my favorite characteristics of the CVT are the seamless, but quick response. I’m not sure about the reliability of Mitsubishi’s CVT, but I do hear time and time again, that Nissan’s notorious for catastrophic failure.
@@km3663mYeah man, Nissan is what kinds scared me away from cvt's at first. But it seems like other companies are perfecting them.
Lavancer nissan cvts are TRASH
@@destroyall24 Yeah bro, especially in the vera and the sentra.
I drove a 2010 for 10 years, but super low mileage living in a small town for most of it. Never had any issues with it. The interior plastic on mine, which still seems to be on this, scratches easily. Was a decent car, I have no big complaints.

Thank you for this detailed and wonderful review! I might buy this car in just a few days :)) I'm watching this as part of my car research thank youhhh
imho the lancer is best compact price-quality, its sporty, reliable, spaciuos, still better great design than corolla or civic
the only ones that can compete with it in terms of reliability are both civic and corolla. the rest are junk.
Bought it brand new in 2015. 142k miles right now and runs like a champ. Only had to spend on regular maintance and ac compressor. That's it
@@theguyinblue123 do you think its worth buying a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sedan for 10k with 111k miles? Im looking into buying it as my first car. Is it reliable or should i stay away from them?
@@senorbonbon for 10k oh yeah. I drove ralliart too and its pretty fun car. It be reliable if you keep the engine stock. But just like with any car if you start adding power shit will break hah
@@theguyinblue123 the seller added a
Map intake
Bora exhaust with S type
These are potentially harmful on the long run right?
@@senorbonbon dont think so no
hey can u still change the Dime of the Turn signal for this Model year?
Fuel economy.. is the best in this car...
Can you do Mitsubishi Outlander 2016? pls
Was thinking of getting one, why do these sell for a low price?
They are discontinued
There a great first or family car as well so the low price help sell to L/P plate's and people who want a cheap four door vehicle with luxury features.
Warning to anyone buying one- that interior plastic scratches easily. Knicked mine this morn
Thank you for sharing your experience.
One of the reasons Mitsubishi ain't doing so well, at least in the US. Their products aren't appealing, at least I personally do not like the new outlander
+planedudea380 "Mitsubishi's 22% gain made August the brand's 18th consecutive month in which sales increased on a year-over-year basis." www.goodcarbadcar.net/2015/09/usa-auto-sales-brand-results-august-2015-ytd.html
Hmm interesting
+Ganso Goose I'm from PR too so yes indeed. Though if the 8289 number in the link +MikesCarInfo posted, the numbers ain't so big. Either ways, what I want to point out is that some of its vehicles really need to catch up.
+planedudea380 lancers are sporty, well made, reliable, spacious, amazing prices ...this tells us all about america...ppl have no clue about cars.
2016 model pls
I think the car needs an update in every way.
+Ps3user1234567890
They changed the front clip for 2016.
I guess they still don't get it.
Did you guys complain when the Ford Crown Vic, Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Tacoma, Mazda RX-7 FD, Nissan 300ZX, 4th gen Chevy Camaro, Mazda B-Series/Ford Ranger, 3rd gen Mazda Miata all weren't significantly changed for about 10 years????
NO?? IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT.
Yes I did complain about them too and the Lancer is way past the point of renewing.
Yup we did! TH-cam wasn't around back then so...you're comment is pure stupidity.
Ps3user1234567890 lol says the one who isn't intelligent enough to even write properly.
I love this car so good looking
Calidad d carro potente te da Seguridad
Es bueno por ser japones
It’s just like my dads BMW X3 2005
I'm I the only one who saw how rusty these rotors are?
I have a Mitsubishi lancer color gray Evo 2017
I FUCKIN LOVE evolutions I Want one
5:05 , 148 HORSE POWER
Does it not come with aux?
It’s Bluetooth
Yes it does but you have to buy the wires yourself unfortunately
This car looks like its from 2008...
You're silly.
Probably because this generation of lancer was made since 2008 I believe.
wow I'm surprised for a 2015 car it looks extremely dated.
Humberto Vargas the 2016-17 are a lot better I have a 2017 lancer limited and it’s been awesome
@@bernardnewsome806 I agree . I know someone who owns a 2011Lancer and the 2016-17 had much better interior materials.
There is a huge aftermarket for this type of car as well so you can literally imagine whatever you like and apply it.
Where da EVO at though
no more. they discontinued it
It ain't a evo doe
It's not meant to be
2015 and a car still has drum brakes? No wonder Mitsubishi turned to shit
Cvt :-(
