83k, congratulations on your growth! It's been a while since I've popped by the channel as I have personally went back to using filmora. Not because premiere pro isn't amazing, cause it certainly is but my understanding and video game footage wouldn't work through it. Hi Lila! What adjustments/values (sharpness, contrast and saturation) do you recommend to apply to the standard or neutral profiles before applying one of your LUTs (for best resuts)? Thanks
That really depends on the video! Some clips don’t need any correction while others do. So there’s no values I can give you to optimise it. I recommend checking out my color correction tutorial if you want to learn more about how to correct your videos. th-cam.com/video/PaYUbnjw8sU/w-d-xo.html

Great video Lila! Btw, do your LUTS work with a specific Sony picture profile or they can be apply with standard or neutral creative style? Thanks
The latter! They are made for neutral/standard colour profiles. You can use them on LOG footage but then you will have to correct that first. 😊

HI! can i use these luts on beauty videos like makeup videos ?? my camera is canon 90D
Yeah you can use it for any type of video. Maybe “basic b-“ is a good LUT if you don’t want the colours to shift too much assuming you want to show makeup the look as realistically as possible? Feel free to use the other LUTs too! Just be aware that they work the same as photo filters where they shift the colour :)

When it comes to LUTs I'd also add that they don't necessarily work the best on all cameras in all settings. This is where you need to consider what camera does the person who made the LUT normally use.
Is the LUT made for Sony cameras?
Canon cameras?
Does it work as a conversion from shooting in LOG? What kind of LOG? Canon? Sony? etc
Or does it work after converting to Rec709.
Just a few extra questions a LUT user might want to consider.

@@KrishnenduKes haha being honest is the only way! :) in case anyone is wondering... when it comes to the LUTs I made, they work on all types of footage as you can see on the website. From phone shots to videos shot in LOG (which you would obviously first have to convert to rec709 and color correct). Like I said in the video, LUTs aren't magical and neither are mine. They all require color correction and perhaps some tweaking after applying the LUT :)
