from zero to one minute one arm handstand | or sagiv 4 years transformation | my handstand journey

  • 4years of hard work, there were injuries, "failures", successes, breaking moments, hours upon hours of work that feels unending, and I reached my big goal - a minute of one arm handstand (on right, on left,on right on parallel, on left on parallel) , It's not about to end, I'm still in the process and i have a lot of goals to achieve.
    while in the process I realized that the path to the goal is more fun than the goal itself, friends, mental training, etc ...
    I was weak, today I still do not consider myself strong ... I just consider myself as one who always wants to get better, be more successful, strive for better, defeat myself, and just work hard!
    There were days I would finish school at 7pm, come home doing homework, go to friends, come back at 11pm start training and finish at 3am, go to bed and get up at 6am for school again, there were days I would train from morning till night, it is not easy to get your goals, you have to live it to get it, so make sure you enjoy the road.
    I worked a lot on basics (pull-ups, dips push-ups, etc ...), freestyle football, running, and in general I love sports, I share my way to my goals on my Instagram ( @or_sagiv_ ) so if you want to see me on the way to my goals then go follow there🙌🏻
    i will upload a lot of progress videos here on TH-cam and motivation videos.
    i learned everything alone, Without a coach, because of that I had a lot of injuries in my journey, i learned from any injury i got... and always trying to be better than yesterday.

    Oh my god this is so incredible. You are an amazing athlete. I've been following your for like a year already and been inspired by you a lot. This video gave me huge motivation to keep getting better. Now my record is 30 seconds of oahs and one minute seems like a dream. But I will grind no matter what. Much love from Ukraine bro💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

    Or, I just discovered this video and your channel. Wow! This video is inspiring and educational. After watching the video three times from beginning to end, I have now sat down with coffee, pencil, paper, and am taking notes. You are so disciplined toward the end-goal; yet, you weave in so many variations along the way. This is something I know I should do, but I forget or am not sure what variations to try. Your variations are creative and entertaining. Keep up the practice and thank you for sharing! I look forward to watching more of your work and trying your ideas in my future practices. Thank you.

    Man same kinda story for me, I was about 14 and saw a guy doing muscle ups and one-arm pull-ups at school and vowed I would do it as well, I didn't really start training very hard until I got a human flag and 1 arm pullup, that jacked up my confidence and now I'm training planche and one arm handstand, I have about 7 seconds second holds for both straddle planche and one arm handstand atm, great work, and good inspiration.

    your one handed handstand form is clean bro
    who teached you the technique?
    and what is the key
    .
    i usually put my right arm slightly bent and I put my weigh to my pinky or sweet finger direction
    but yours are different, I saw your fingers are point to the 90 degree
    do u locked your arm to stomach in that particular line?

      Yes, the longest took 2 months, but I learned a lot about my body, and in the last 2 years I didn’t have any serious injuries (not more than 5 days rest), this is a process to do to understand your body.

      I did typical strenght training for about a year or two before I started HS. It helped a lot to llow me to be able to handle (ironic) the strain some of the move can put on your body. Youd be suprised how fatigued your wrist can get from one arm handstands. If you start stretching your legs rn it will help in future. Straddle OAHS is significantly easier then Full OAHS, and if you want a good looking straddle OAHS, you wanna have good hip mobility.

    • @uncagedpine9589
      @uncagedpine9589 ปีที่แล้ว

      specifically id focus on the pancake stretch.

    • @uncagedpine9589
      @uncagedpine9589 ปีที่แล้ว

      but to answer your question I have not trained typical strenght trainign other then HS push-up for like a year, and I have only gotten stronger.
