When I first started playing I chose the aug over the M4A1 but the Ads speed was toooo long with the 60 mags and sometimes it felt like I was dying before it even aimed so I had to switch
Funny how insane the M4 still is and all streamers pretty much say all other weapons are great :P
@daimon hellstrom I prefer using the 30 round mag with SoH. The reload is basically instant and the ads/movement speed isn't heavily slowed down.
Yeah, I've used the AUG with the longest barrel and I tried to use the special 3x scope that is exclusive to AUG and I have to say that the ads took longer than any LMG setup I use. I guess this is why I've not seen any streamer (so far) use the longest barrel or even an optic on AUG. The AUG is basically an smg or ar (based on how you modify it) and it shouldn't take THIS long for it to ads and even adding an optic shouldn't make the gun SO unusable. IW really needs to fix the ads on AUG, it's so broken (the way other around).
@@bournetofeel3023 Yeah OVERALL buff to ads speed to line it up with the other smgs as at launch the mp5 is basically better and faster in every catagory besides recoil like that matters but this is not a ar it's a hybird I recommend monolithic suppresor with 30 rnd 556 mags tac laser merc foregrip and probably sleight of hand or a optic DO NOT USE the 60 round drum mag unless you want to butcher the ads speed and don't go for a range build my setup still works decently at engagements below 100 meters.

2:50 - Badass looking (and sounding) weapons make me feel like I'm playing better as well. It's almost like the orc effect in Warhammer where they paint their ships red to make them faster and because they believe it, it works.

And what exactly you're supposed to do if confronted by guy of a superior skill? Let him kill you? Not to mention that that roof is extremely good to hold. If you have ammo, equipment and weapon to hold it, why not? Not everyone play to to get max kills.

The AUG could be Tomo's weapon of choice. It's been a long time I've seen him use it.
I play without barrel but GI optic and no laser but strippled grip. Is realy nice too. Same ads, 1hit more on range but stealth, no visible for enemys. And solo you can use the 30mag for better ads and movement speed
I enjoy your solo games but when you squad up with the gang, its unbeatable. You guys make the perfect team

ADS is impacted a lot by the attachments as well. I would love to see a change there as well.

the best attachments for the aug in warzone is the compensator with the long barrel 810 and the integral hybird 3.0 scope with 32 round mag and commando grip

Solos is like turning off the downstairs light having to run up the stairs towards your room with the light on
It is and footsteps in mw are so bad too so that doesn't help

I started playing solos 2 weeks ago, i have gotten soo much better in just a few weeks, first i didnt think solos will make you better this fast but well i am kinda new to warzone
Makes sense though, the M4 60 rounds is still a mag. The Aug moves to a drum
AUG is also bullpup, which irl is much more suitable for fast aiming, not to mention that it is 5.56 originaly and can't have such strong recoil compared to other ARs in this game. But it is as it is, so let USA kids enjoy "superior weapons" of their homeland

How is the attachment website called?
The reason the 60 round 5.56 mag adds so much ADS time is because the gun is classified as an SMG, with handling stats to match. If it only added 6ms to ADS it would be a lot faster than even a fully ADS speed kitted M4.

Great technique with Kar, fun to watch... Half the fun of cod for me is tweaking load outs and modifying weapons.
Looking for some input, do you guys think overkill is necessary for your load out or using other perks ? I’m running ghost and cold blooded as of right now.

Nice video! Gonna have to give the old AUG another look now! Also, I agree about solos being very creepy. I enjoy playing solos but it is very much a different atmosphere from the other modes. It almost fills like you're playing a horror title. If Infinity Ward somehow incorporates zombies into WZ (and especially solos), this could turn into a terrifying game! Imagine clearing a building and having a biter spring out of a closet! Yikes!
This video does make sense cause as absolutely great your gameplay is, you got like what 3 kills with the Aug and the rest with the Kar.

The reason that the M4 doesnt lose as much ADS speed as the AUG when you add the 60 round mags is because the M4 keeps the same type of rounds in the magazine whereas the AUG uses a higher calibre when it is given the 60 round mags therefore resulting in a bigger change in weapon weight. I actually want to make a long range aug class to like an Aug with an rpg so I can run a different perk any tips on a build for that?
Try the longest barrel and remove the suppressor, then add the 3x VLK optic instead.

About the AUG stats penalty I think you should compare the actual stats with rifles' since its an upgrade from smg to ar, not just 'extra 30 bullets' like m4's case.

People think that the Kar98k and the aug are the worst guns but I think they’re both really good and as you said work well together and to be honest I use a Kar in Multiplayer at close range. Might seem strange but Kar in shipment. You just imagine people’s reactions 😉
1:40 that’s not a hidden stat. That’s just the physics behind how increased range works. If it travels at a higher velocity then it will travel further before it hits the ground.
Notice how the light suppressor and monolithic have range modifiers that are directly proportional to the bullet velocity?

kar 98 is easier to handle and its more versatile compared to the other sniper rifles ... if u are a beginner and want to master sniping in warzone start with kar 98 ... i just love it

That gas mask animation cost me a win just the other day when I was playing duos. That is maddening for sure I hope it changes
It seems like a pretty simple fix so my guess is they're not going to. They need to do something even if it's just making the line of the gas MUCH more obvious/clear. It's crazy the amount of times its screwed (or nearly screwed) me.

That is literally my combo... and I just started playing
MY AUG LOADOUTs for warzone 1) Mono Supp, 407mm Extended Barrel, Tac Laser, CQB Stock and 60 round mag or 2) Mono Supp, 407mm Extended Barrel, Tac Laser, 30 round mag and Sleight of Hand. Ive been playing around with both of them #1 u get 370ms ADS and #2 u get 322ms ADS.

The ttk and hipfire is so op on the Aug that the only way you will get a fix for the 5'56 drum is with a nerf to the ttk it's a two shot kill smg with insanely accurate hipfire
Idk if you noticed as well but you could totally run another AR with the aug with 5.56 rounds because it still uses only light ammo
Nice vid, i like you walkthroughs for the firearm setups. I always thought the AUG was an assault rifle not an smg anyway so this build does right by the AUG IMO :P
Regarding the larger amount of ADS time for the 60 round AUG i kinda get it, look at the shape and positioning of it compared to the the one on the M4A1.

100% agreed on the fact ax-50 and kar98k are the most coolest weapon I have ever seen

But the monolithic silencer does tell you it adds bullet velocity, how did you miss that? Its the main reason it’s on 90% of my warzone guns, doesn’t matter the class
If the Aug had a faster ads with the 60 round mag on then it would be one of the best close/medium range gun in the game
