This song makes me feel such a specific emotion that I can't describe, but I love. I haven't found any other song that gives me this feeling. It's like, intense, longing, nostalgic sadness and overwhelming joy? Idk anymore
that's pretty accurate to what I'm feeling after hearing this song and watching the videoclip for the first time. It started with a overwhelming sadness that turned itself into a nostalgic "miss my young self" or something like that feeling and ended up a somewhat appreciation of what I have now. Incredible.

This music video is showing that getting stuck in a "safe" routine can result in a stagnant life. The older people are breaking their routine and going out and letting go and experiencing joy and young love again. "The times that you take to wait for all of the things that you need are the times that are wasted."

that's pretty much on parr with what I was thinking. but I'll go a bit further and say that it's also noting that if you continue to just wonder what will happen if you take a risk it doesn't really matter what great will come of it because you've spent too much time thinking about it and you miss it, the opportunity passed and you're still in the same mundane situation you've been. just thinking out loud

Renacer is my favourite album (although it's hard to choose). The irony of their heaviest album having the most uplifting lyrics/message is wonderful! I absolutely admire Buddy for many reasons and was lucky enough to meet him once before a gig. A true artist who keeps giving to the world.

I only ever listened to Let It Enfold You and Still Searching before I grew out of the majority of "Warped Tour" music, looks like I'll have to check out the rest of their albums, this song was awesome.

SF is and always will have my heart. I feel like I've been emotionally riding shotgun to Buddy since 2003 or so and the end result, Renacer, is to me a statement of moving beyond what the past and even present. Love this video, love the song.

I believe the real meaning of this music video is just as it seems. People get into the habit of living in a sick cycle of repetition which inevitably leads to a empty existence. I think what senses fail is trying to convey to us is to question your life and if it is not what you wanted it to be,then change it, Don't sit on ur ass and do nothing. Change, We all have that ability in us and that is what I find most inspirational about this video. "Don't fear the unknown road."

I think people got this video all wrong they didn't go out and party like there was nothing to lose...they reminisced on what they did with there time leading to being old and now there stuck with an empty life to look back on rather then facing there problems and making something of themselves like so many of us do

Renacer is amazing. Haters gonna hate. I feel the music video pairs perfectly with the song. I love all senses fail. The only song on the entire album I don't care for is Mi amor. Listen to music for the feels, not the technicality. There best album since still searching IMO

Renacer was great, but Courage of the knife was too repetitive. It would've been better if a repetitive line or two had been swapped out for one that better matched what Buddy said he was going for in the spotify interview.

And its so easy to see his story through all of his albums, the addictions, the feeling of being worthless/hopeless, the lies and abuse.... Then renacer comes out, and shows that its always darkest before the dawn... A lot of people wouldn't understand the sentiment of the video. They would just get a thrill & a laugh outta watching "some bored married old couple getting fucked up" when the video and song speak so many different volumes on different levels.

+glassphyxie La neta... la verdad es que con Renacer para mi dieron un bajon muy grande, The Fire fue aun un gran disco, pero el punto cuspide de su carrera fue sin duda el Still Searching, para mi uno de los mejores discos que existen en la historia. Asi de claro, la calidad y producción son inigualables.

My interpretation:
The video opens with this couple, old and decrepit, just living; they're reaching the end of the road soon, and go about mundane rituals (shower. eat. take your pills. sleep. wake up. shower. eat., etc...). It's when the lyrics say: YOU'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE that the couple have their sort of epiphany that it's time to enjoy the last of their days, care-free and without regard for (what little) bodily health they have left. One last huzza, really.
