@ there is really new point other than it being cool that you can speak a language that most people can’t. 😂 It’s really cool though because English is a Latin based language so it is cool to see what roots words were derived from. It also helps you understand English for that reason. And many medical terms come from Latin

Me too. My school teaches Latin from 4-8th grade. Then in 9-10 grade they teach greek and in 11-12 grade they teach Spanish. It’s so hard tho 😭

In Brazillian portuguese, some young people may use "valeu" to say "bye", and others (adults and young adults, I think) might use "salve" to say "hello". It's not always the case, and it depends on the occasion
