I'm watching it now and it's giving me soooo much confidence. I'm starting life over after spending 7 years taking care of my mom. She has a brain injury. I have learned so much taking care of her, including to go after what makes me happy and not to change for others, but just be myself. So I'm doing me! Art is me! It has been since I was school. Still learning & use that smaller color wheel as mixing colors is very interesting & like the ones that have color key code (letters & #’s) of which colors where used to make say (Viridian green) & gives you opacity ratings.
Ty for this video as used to shade w black but now will use a dark purple!

Starting off with a set is a really great idea if you want to jump right in and not get stuck on colors. That's how I got started! You can always learn to mix later. :)

What are you using for your pallet and how do you mix enough color to use consistently in a painting? I find myself mixing a color then running short and when I mix more the color isn’t the same. Or, when I do mix enough, it starts to dry out while I’m paining.
