Peter, I’ve just come to say thank you. I watched almost all your videos and they taught me a lot. I passed my test on 14/12/23. 1st attempt on 25/11/23, but I failed because of the reverse parallel park. I did complete the manoeuvre but examiner said I took too long. But thanks for all your videos, Peter. You really help a lot of learners.
@adedayooladipo3031 Congratulations and well done for passing your driving test they say the best drivers pass second time am happy my videos helped you pass your test and thank you for the nice comments about my channel. Safe driving for life.🚙🚙
@adeayooladipo3031 2 serious faults for not responding to traffic signs. Go to 6:05 and 15:06 on the video and you will see it, if you don't, you're not at test standard. Good look and safe driving for life.
@@petermalone6688 Hi Peter. Thank you for your reply. I did take note of 6:05 when I watched the video. I noticed he entered the 20mph zone at 24mph, but he then quickly reduced his speed. I was thinking because he didn’t drive at 24mph for a long period of time, and quickly adjusted his speed limit to the limit he ought to have been doing, then it wasn’t a serious fault? I was told if you were driving way out of the speed limit you should be doing for a particular road, for a considerable long time, then it will result in a fail. At 15:06, I also took note of the national speed limit sign.. but I wasn’t sure if the pupil should have been doing 60mph on that single carriage road?as the road looked very narrow? Please can you explain what actually went wrong here? Thank you very much for your videos, they really do help everyone. Like a poster said.. this seems to be a new route, we have never seen it on your page before. Thanks
@@adedayooladipo3031 you are correct, but it depends on the examiner sitting next to you because the serious faults not responding to traffic signs means you should have responded earlier and that way you are in control because your observation skills are excellent. The national speed limit sign is a classic example. Even though the road was narrow the speed never went over 29mph. Which tells the examiner the pupil thought it was a 30mph, my advice if the road is clear ahead get over the 30mph up to 40mph and the examiner will now know you responded to the traffic sign because you have increased your speed and you go home with your certificate. Good luck with your driving test.

Is this a new route? I’ve never seen this before in all the videos I’ve watched on here! So glad I didn’t get it on my test 😂
@kneale9 no it's an old Route one of my mates pupils burst his tyre trying to squeeze through about 6 years ago. Safe driving for life.
Hello Peter. Please can you tell me where the serious mistakes were? I could spot the pupil drove on a bus at one time? Thanks
