@rezanasri4952 Why don't you check out all the Speke test routes on my channel there must be at least ten routes because it will be easier to just watch the videos than spend a week printing out street names. Good luck with your test.

@petermalone6688 thanks Peter. But the specific maneuvers of reverse parking, can I be asked to reverse park into a specific side? E.g. "can you reverse park in any bay on the right side". Or do they always give you the option to chose the left or right side to reverse park into?

@@91hussy Yes they have to tell you to drive into a bay or reverse into a bay or pull over on the right and reverse back two car lengths. And they will ask you to pull over or next to a car and reverse back two car lengths which is the parallel park. I cannot tell you what the examiner will say to you but just make sure you are confident at it. Good luck with your driving test.

@91hussy Your first question parallel park. It depends on the position you're not happy with, assess the situation, make a safe decision and act on it, providing you use observation, control, which is important and accuracy you will be able to judge what to do. If you go back to the start, try not to take too long doing it. Park on the right and reverse back 2 car lengths the right signal is for pulling over on the right and once you do that make sure to switch the signal off because when you select reverse the reverse lights come on at the back of your car and that is the signal for you to reverse. @Britannia-xf8qb I think Upton test centre has about fifteen test routes it might be more I would advise you to be prepared, and that means driving around without your instructor helping you to make decisions, stay calm and concentrated for every second you are on your test. @user-xyur7un4f Go to 0:05 you will see a straight arrow do not cross over the staggered lines because you will block traffic coming into the car park. If you get a bay park, just make sure you use these 3 skills. 1 observation. 2 Control. 3 Accuracy. If you control the car, it will give you time to use the other 2 skills. Use these three skills at the same time and make sure you finish the bay park in between two white lines. Good luck with your test.

@lollylou99 It depends on the situation at that moment but remember to check your mirrors first and signal if you need to let other road users know your intention if the road is empty the signal is not necessary. Good luck on your driving test.

@DavidMolly-k3r It is a good question it all depends on the context of your journey, if you approach a traffic light and it has just turned to red stop the car put into first and have the handbrake ready to release, clutch at the bite and set the gas and be ready for it to change. If the red light has been on for a while and it might change any second you have to make a quick decision just make sure you're ready to move off safely, and you may have a problem if you put the handbrake on just as the light turns to green. @zee7596 I used to go with my pupils many years ago to find out where the test routes went and if they were anxious, but I make sure they are test ready and overcome their anxiety before I decide to take them on test. I make sure they watch the test videos and believe me it works when you know where you're going on your test. Your instructor must have confidence in your driving ability but if you feel it makes you nervous then politely tell your instructor to wait in the waiting room. Good luck with your driving test.

@mefastman77 They keep changing the routes, but the number is usually around sixteen and to predict how many lessons you will need to be test standard can be down to several factors, manual or automatic nervous or calm, problems with left and rights, do you slam the car door when you get in or out of your car. The list is endless, the official version from the DVSA is. Above average learners can do it with between 22 to 30 lessons with additional 22 lessons with parents. Average learners 42 to 50 and remember the additional 22 with parents and don't ask about below average learners. On my channel I have about twelve routes you can watch and by the way this will help you reduce paying for more lessons because you will know the routes without having to drive around them. @petermalone6688 hi Peter i have pushed my test back until beginning of October. Just don't feel ready yet! I want to be a fully competent and confident driver when I'm alone on the roads, didn't want to chance my luck

@saralouise7641 Yes, they use the same routes but sometimes they can change it slightly this video is nearly two years old, and it was not an easy route Patricia passed first time with 4 minors. Good luck with your test.

@vjaj905 You can go ahead on both roundabouts in either the left lane or the right lane. Your examiner will give you a direction ahead ahead on both round abouts watch my pupil who takes the lane nearest to the roundabout and watch the Chris Kelly after the 2nd roundabout the car has to change direction because of the parked cars my pupil does not have to change direction because they used forward planning. @kevinTRQ You have to base your decision on the fact if you move behind the white van will you make it across safely. And you can clearly see the traffic on the other side was busy and this decision was excellent because the traffic light changed to red and the white van was still stuck in the middle waiting for the silver car to pass. Just remember to check the traffic on the other side before you follow the vehicle in front of you turning right. You must move into the middle if you are the leading vehicle. @josephm8292 you can go ahead in either lane when there are two lanes onto a roundabout and two off. Go to 1:41 in the video and watch where my pupil goes and watch what the Chris Kelly car has to do when my pupil exits the second roundabout, he has to change direction because of the parked cars and it is important to have local knowledge because you will know there are parked cars on the left. And that is called forward planning. Good luck with your driving test.
