Hello Darshit ji , Your videos are very informative and very motivating for budding musicians.... Honestly speaking I am from a lower middle class background trying to balance between my work life, social life, pursuing my hobby/passion and family support, as I am the only earning member of my family I need to take care of my family as well as my needs too. I Love listening to music and try to sing it in my own way but I am not a classically trained singer, I am just an amateur singer who uses his self taught guitar and ukulele to self satisfy/relax. Lots of wellwishers/colleagues have told me to pursue career in music, but I refused as music is not my profession it's just a hobby/passion for me and , whereas the job I am doing is the daily bread and butter for me and my family. Still whenever I get time I just sing karaokes (smule/starmaker) and sometimes sit with my instrument and sing along as it gives me happiness and pleasure from within... Like you, thought not in same industry but I had been through many different jobs and work.but ultimately left just to pursue "what makes me happy" .I had worked in "sesa Goa" one of subsidy of vedanta,then worked in Unicef project, then done my internship in big fm Goa. I have 50+ covers on this channel of mine in Hindi, English and also Spanish which I produce the music myself and record it myself by having a basic knowledge of camera and lightings in my home studio but the growth is really low. But the thing is that I think my voice is the biggest plus of mine. I just have 600 odd subscribers. I guess that can be because of the fact that my frequency of covers is less and choice of covers is pretty specific at times. That’s why recently I’ve started finding Live shows and have done a couple of them where I even enjoy more than being a TH-camr. So my question is that should I continue being a TH-camr and invest money in making really high level covers and how does maintaining a really proffessional type and consistent Instagram profile would help me in this. I’m in my 4th year of engineering and I wanna go to Bombay to study Music Production in August after the end of my engineering and I don’t even know what I’m gonna do there. So if you could help me with couple tips of yours bhai, I’d really appreciate it (:

Mera ek goal to achieve kar liya, mujhe full time music aur video production me ana tha, aur job nahi khudka karna tha, so after working for 6 years in private company, I quit in 2016 & started my own freelancing career. Next goal is to grow big on TH-cam, jispe last 2 months se focus chalu hai.

It's been 4+ yrs that m learning it from 2 gurus and this coming Sunday I m thinking to tell my one guru that I want to take a break in singing To observe and get on to the field and start exploring the real field The major setback that I am facing or thinking ABT is I don't want to take advantage of my Gurus connection he is an National level singer and I want to experience on my own and do everything on my own Hunting and knocking Opportunities on my own and the Question is " How do I go out and establish the networking part Shud I be approaching directly to venues and resto's or whatever is the way pls enlighten and also how to initiate it professionally ? (As they say this is the best way to start ) ((The competition part is over and still in progress in my case )) If you could make a separate vdo on this issue that will be really very helpful for most of the people I assure 110%
All point were highly appropriate specially no 3 and no 7... Like see Amit Mishra got in the scene after bulleya but he has been singing since much back. And consistency of getting good songs are highly needed, see Ami Mishra, he just vanished after hasi ban gaye. I keep on checking different singer's wiki to see how many song's they got a year. Shocking is of Mohd irfan(my personal favourite), javed ali and many others. Is it like you may loose songs if you try to keep up with your ethics, like Irfan said once he says no to songs which don't have decent lyrics and moreover I was shocked to see Shaan to be the male singer of the song O saiyya ve from great grand masti. This channel is really providing some authentic and useful content 😊. I asked you in another video also.. I'm again asking.. How to own or make a music company like tseries, tips music etc..?
@@soumyajitsaha2495 don't worry about grammar, even mine isn't perfect. Nowadays only those singers will get more songs who have signed contracts with record labels, and each record label has their own set of singers, people like Sonu Nigam who are much bigger aren't getting more songs because they choose not to sign such contracts, the terms and conditions are never in favour of singers. But majority of singers are just hungry to work in Bollywood, they don't mind compromising. And about owning record label, it's practically impossible to own T-Series or Sony music for any normal guy, what one can do is start and independent record label, register your company as per the rules of govt of India, any legal advisor can give you those details. My personal advice, don't get into it unless you have lot's and lot's of money to play with. You won't be earning any profit in it for a very long time if you start individually, Vishal and Shekhar had started their record label, launched Raghu Dixit, not sure they did anything else afterwards, Himesh launched HR Music, acquired thousands of songs of unknown composers(I know it because I was also one of the composers being approached in 2011, was smart enough not to give away any song) Even his record label is inactive. Only big sharks can survive this business. For individuals like us, it's best to stay independent, release music on TH-cam & grow personal brand, but that's my opinion, some might not agree.
No no i do agree. I wasn't aware of these schemes so thought to ask you. Btw you once said that reality shows approach youtube singers. That's true.. I was amazed to see adnan Ahmad and preeti Bhasin in voice this season. Many even got into play black.. Raj Barman is from Kolkata and he's doing Bengali playbacks here.. And he's now doing live concerts the every other day.. Honestly speaking, more the days are passing, the more am I gaining confidence on this channel

Like you, thought not in same industry but I had been through many different jobs and work.but ultimately left just to pursue "what makes me happy" .I had worked in "sesa Goa" one of subsidy of vedanta,then worked in Unicef project, then done my internship in big fm Goa. I have 50+ covers on this channel of mine in Hindi, English and also Spanish which I produce the music myself and record it myself by having a basic knowledge of camera and lightings in my home studio but the growth is really low. But the thing is that I think my voice is the biggest plus of mine. I just have 600 odd subscribers. I guess that can be because of the fact that my frequency of covers is less and choice of covers is pretty specific at times. That’s why recently I’ve started finding Live shows and have done a couple of them where I even enjoy more than being a TH-camr. So my question is that should I continue being a TH-camr and invest money in making really high level covers and how does maintaining a really proffessional type and consistent Instagram profile would help me in this.
I’m in my 4th year of engineering and I wanna go to Bombay to study Music Production in August after the end of my engineering and I don’t even know what I’m gonna do there. So if you could help me with couple tips of yours bhai, I’d really appreciate it (:

I suggest you either read or listen to the audiobook "the war of art" by Steven Pressfield, that's been life changing for me.

Mera ek goal to achieve kar liya, mujhe full time music aur video production me ana tha, aur job nahi khudka karna tha, so after working for 6 years in private company, I quit in 2016 & started my own freelancing career.
Next goal is to grow big on TH-cam, jispe last 2 months se focus chalu hai.

Purane Or modern songs v gaati hai and wo india ke sabse successful singer hai... Or me v achhe gaane pe hi focus karna chahta hu like shreya ghoshal.......
It's been 4+ yrs that m learning it from 2 gurus and this coming Sunday I m thinking to tell my one guru that I want to take a break in singing To observe and get on to the field and start exploring the real field The major setback that I am facing or thinking ABT is I don't want to take advantage of my Gurus connection he is an National level singer and I want to experience on my own and do everything on my own Hunting and knocking Opportunities on my own and the Question is " How do I go out and establish the networking part Shud I be approaching directly to venues and resto's or whatever is the way pls enlighten and also how to initiate it professionally ? (As they say this is the best way to start ) ((The competition part is over and still in progress in my case ))

All point were highly appropriate specially no 3 and no 7... Like see Amit Mishra got in the scene after bulleya but he has been singing since much back. And consistency of getting good songs are highly needed, see Ami Mishra, he just vanished after hasi ban gaye. I keep on checking different singer's wiki to see how many song's they got a year. Shocking is of Mohd irfan(my personal favourite), javed ali and many others. Is it like you may loose songs if you try to keep up with your ethics, like Irfan said once he says no to songs which don't have decent lyrics and moreover I was shocked to see Shaan to be the male singer of the song O saiyya ve from great grand masti. This channel is really providing some authentic and useful content 😊. I asked you in another video also.. I'm again asking.. How to own or make a music company like tseries, tips music etc..?

@@soumyajitsaha2495 don't worry about grammar, even mine isn't perfect. Nowadays only those singers will get more songs who have signed contracts with record labels, and each record label has their own set of singers, people like Sonu Nigam who are much bigger aren't getting more songs because they choose not to sign such contracts, the terms and conditions are never in favour of singers. But majority of singers are just hungry to work in Bollywood, they don't mind compromising.
And about owning record label, it's practically impossible to own T-Series or Sony music for any normal guy, what one can do is start and independent record label, register your company as per the rules of govt of India, any legal advisor can give you those details. My personal advice, don't get into it unless you have lot's and lot's of money to play with. You won't be earning any profit in it for a very long time if you start individually, Vishal and Shekhar had started their record label, launched Raghu Dixit, not sure they did anything else afterwards, Himesh launched HR Music, acquired thousands of songs of unknown composers(I know it because I was also one of the composers being approached in 2011, was smart enough not to give away any song) Even his record label is inactive.
Only big sharks can survive this business. For individuals like us, it's best to stay independent, release music on TH-cam & grow personal brand, but that's my opinion, some might not agree.
No no i do agree. I wasn't aware of these schemes so thought to ask you. Btw you once said that reality shows approach youtube singers. That's true.. I was amazed to see adnan Ahmad and preeti Bhasin in voice this season. Many even got into play black.. Raj Barman is from Kolkata and he's doing Bengali playbacks here.. And he's now doing live concerts the every other day..
