Usher demonstrates how belting has to be placed strategically in a performance. Keys is a great singer but she might have overused her voice too ambitiously in the past. Nerves/no water/a cold/something got the best of her that night. It's ok. It happens. But the "affair curse" theory is not fair. Tons of singers shouldn't have voices at this point...!

I hate to be that guy but McG never directed an episode of The OC. He was an executive producer of the whole show and was SUPPOSED to direct the pilot, but instead it was done by Doug Liman, who in my opinion doesn’t get enough credit for what he brought to that show. Otherwise great episode as always, mazel tov for the haircut Joe.

We often forget she tested these waters with “Ring the Alarm,” and “Don’t Hurt Yourself” is almost like the sequel - that means for her third rock exploration, shouldn’t it be on V.3???? I've been listening to this pod for years and reading Jon since his beautifully written review of MBDF more than 12 years ago, but you two do not go hard enough on Kanye.
