@@gendronhvac-r1269 I guess with that being said Is it better to perform things like: Vacuum Recovery Adding refrigerant Etc Without a Schader? Iv been told it makes it faster that’s about it
(Also)... Watch your sight glass on the oil pot... once it drops below the sight glass, go back to the gauges and look in that sight glass there.... u will start to see it clear up from the foaming.. it should then be near empty.
Very helpful tho not rack / supermarket guy myself... more C store havc/ Refrigeration but once in while they toss small restaurant at ya with small rack good principles- thx
Thanks man I'm glad it help ya. It is in new England. And I don't wanna to tell you the store because IDK if I can for like legal stuff or something. It is a grocery chain but not Walmart.
Carlyle...that thing's showing its age. I don't think Hussmann even builds anything with Carlyle compressors anymore. I've heard these things are very temperamental and require constant monitoring to ensure that they are working right.
Keep it up man your videos are getting out there !
Thanks glad to help 🙂
Thanks for the tip! Will be very helpful very soon I’m sure.. keep making videos!
It's nice to have a service fitting on the drain port. Over here your screwed lol. Good video 📹
How do you put on that service valve without making a mess?
How would you know when the oil is completely out of the crankcase?
When the oil regulator/float sight glass is clear then your good.
Can we use this method on a flood compressor before changing the oil float?
Yes :) good question
Are you using two sets of gauges?or is that yellow hose going from the bottom of the compressor directly to the that suction line?
I will very often times used two sets of gauges.
You can use a core removal tool. But I prefer to use two gauges

Great video.Keep it up just one thing.I wouldn't use my digital gages.Go back to the old school gauges
I have had trouble over the years.
But I do love them. :)
I dunno if I'd be pumping oil thru digital gauges like.that. but good video

What part of the country are located man!! Good stuff are those Walmart racks?
Thanks man I'm glad it help ya.

Most of that looks like Jewel Osco or Albertsons equipment that I used to work on. Shaws or StopnShop if NE.
When you push the oil out of compressor, does it matter to hook up the high side gauge to liquid line or discharge line?

It was quite the old rack.
And that's interesting to know. I haven't had too much exposure with that brand of compressor.
