Good video but my broken light had the middle screw spinning in place. I had to break the whole thing to get rid of the light it took like 3 hours to do.
What supposed to be a 20 min job became a 2 hour job for me. Whole bolts were turning when I was trying to get nuts off. Had to break the third light. Take most of it out to reveal the top of the bolts. Then I was able to get the bolts completely removed.
It sucks when a quick job doesn’t go smoothly, I tried replacing a section of exhaust on a car years ago, thought it would take an hour, ended up spending a whole day lying under the car because every bolt was seized up with rust!
@@db192 I should say though your videos on the z4 have been excellent. I changed all my interior lights to led’s, the sidelights to those xenon looking bulbs too. As someone with no mechanic experience, the videos have really helped me. Thank you!
Great video, a nice voice over. Looks like an easy fix. Thanks.
Thanks 👍

That sounds like a nightmare, at least you got it sorted and glad the video helped!
Exactly the same just happened to me! Luckily just pulling upwards vigorously broke it out haha
Great video, enjoyed watching this.

You are most welcome!
Mine had a crack when I bought it. I sources two new ones, both of which arrived in two pieces, so I've given up and got used to the damaged ones.
That’s hard luck, I’m guessing they weren’t packed properly. I picked up mine for £20 but made sure it was UK stock as I didn’t want to wait for long.
@@db192 Ah, I think that was my problem. The stock was from the far east...
Thanks!
You’re very welcome
I don't have a "cross head" screwdriver. Will a Phillips head do? LOL!!
What size nut on the light fixture?
Been a while since I did it but I believe they are 8mm nuts.
@@db192 Confirmed! 8mm nuts. I replaced one today. 👍
Tenho que fazer o mesmo ao meu mudar esse faróis
