Obi is not like them. Obi is a man of great wisdom and integrity . Let Brother Ken go where he wants but Obi prevented a senseless tribal and religious war after 2023 election. Obi is a man of Wisdom and When God says it’s his time to rule Nigeria Obi will shock the world.

PO is never a 'weak man' if you don't know, PO is the man behind the subtle revolution going on in Nigeria. He opened the eyes of the Nigerian people.with his words. Again, PO is the only prominent Nigerian and politician that has the boldness to confront rhe criminals in power despite all their intimidation on him. For me, that's bravery. How many of PO's mates do you hear discuss the people in power publicly without fear??

These people cannot turn PO to what he is not! To be honest, the Nigerian people need PO to lead them more than PO needs the presidency! Like Datti Baba said, democracy is for those who can "demand for it". Nigerians must do the needful and chase the corrupt people out of power. Power belongs to the people. Moreover, Kenneth must not take a swipe at PO before he distaances himself from PO. Kenneth can as well join Balami Isaac. At this point, I personally believe its only PO who truly has the interest of people at heart and PO and the well-meaning Nigerians will succeed.

PO is smarter than people think imo. He understands that any agitation instigated by him will be termed Biafra, IPOB agitation etc. With APC controlling all organs of power and media, this will be suicidal for him. That's why he's quietly going around making friends in all parts of the country and constructing socialist projects to get to the minds of the people instead. It's a seed worth sowing that will reap rewards later. People like Kenneth are just impatient and prefer confrontations instead. He should form his own party and lead it his way and see where it gets him.

I have known Barrister Kenneth Okonkwo as a man of high intelligence, but I must say he got this one wrong. I understand he expected Peter Obi to take over LP forcefully as if it were his birthright, like other corrupt leaders, in order to wrestle power from APC, but fortunately Obi doesn't have a dictatorship trait in him. He is a man of integrity and not desperate to be president. We, the true Obidients, believe in Peter Obi, and we believe he's the best at the moment in whom we could achieve the new Nigeria we all crave for. Of course, we will miss Barrister Okonkwo, and I wish him the best in his future political endeavors.

Yes, that's the mistake. Suppose Will can merge Okonkwo's kind of person with POs, the judges will be scared and justice will have perhaps been done. That kind of character may look desperate on the surface but that's what is needed in Nigeria of today. Let's Read this book: The Mafia Manager: A Guide to the Corporate Machiavelli. You will see what is missing in the equation and perhaps, that is what Barr. is looking for. If we lie low, APC does have plans to leave ASO Rock one day, worst still, Tinubu will continue just like what he is doing in Lagos State. APC and Tinubu need to be kicked out by force otherwise they will remain there with a gentlemanly approach.

I shall presume from Kenneth’s ‘interesting’ article that he shall be leading the ‘protests’ personally bristling with weaponry and screaming defiance at our oppressors, who by the way are also our countryman. Kenneth knows very well that shouting and barking orders is NOT PO’s style. He is not a despot, nor does he display the characteristics of becoming a lifelong ‘president’ who still want to hold unto power in his 90s. I am sad that Kenneth sees a measured and intelligent approach to good governance as a procrastination to our hopes for Nigeria and her healing and success. I am 100% for Peter Obi who continues to prove his capability for leadership of our great nation, despite the very disturbing problems that he is likely to inherit WHEN he leads Nigeria. Aisha, I hope you see this. The Labour Party is not a country, and Obi lacks the state instruments to enforce laws within the party. If Peter Obi were president, he could investigate figures like Abure and Apapa using the DSS, prosecute them with the attorney general if found guilty, and restore some order. But within the Labour Party, what power does he have to enforce and prosecute breaches of the party constitution, even if he were its leader? Can he truly prosecute?
Nigerian political parties understand two things: corruption and force. Obi has neither; he is neither a tyrant nor a dictator. However, his track record as governor of Anambra and his leadership in various organizations show he can handle situations decisively. We saw how he curbed violence and improved security in Anambra. He knows when to act and when to refrain, which is why Obiano could do what he did. This is true leadership.

Don't forget that Peter obi is an Igbo man that they are looking for a way to put him into prison and he knows. If Peter obi says half of what Datti said he could have been in prison by now Peter obi is aware of it . Kenneth okonkwo is ignorant of what is happening in Nigeria 🇳🇬

What Kennet is saying is that Peter Obi has the qualities Nigerians need to be the country's leader but Peter Obi is not forceful enough. if Datti were to be Peter Obi things would not be like it is today because Datti would not tolerate all that Peter Obi has. A good leader possesses every quality, knows when to get hot and when to get cool. Peter Obi knows those criminals very well so he should know when to galvanize his followers to achieve what is at stake.

Looks like you don't get it. A Wise leader is the one who will take everything into consideration, including the political, religious, tribal and other prevailing atmosphere/situation before taking certain steps and actions in order to be able to beat his chest and say yes I took the right decision at the right time. A Wise leader bids his time. He is not in a hurry to act. He that is wise and believes in God's appointed time does not make haste.

Mandala never served in any capacity as an elected leader before becoming the president of South Africa. So he didn't have the experience and moreover, he was already weak both physically and mentally from very long incarceration to make any meaningful impact as a president. No basis for comparison here.

Thank you so much for reviewing mr Kenneth’s letter, your analysis for me is on point, if he really stands for what he claims, he should understand that no one can fight corruption with corruption, if he expects Peter obi to commit because things did not go his way this time then Peter obi can never be the hope of reviving Nigeria as a country. He should take his time and review his decision, I believe he will come to his senses as long as he is fighting for a new Nigeria

Thank you very much for this analysis of Peter Obi personality. I think that Okonkwo is not even sure of what he wants Nigeria to be. Solving a problem is not enough to create a problem.

There are many roads to freedom, everyone has to pick their own path to that freedom. Some will choose violence, some will choose advocacy and due process, some will choose negotiations and some will choose cunning, guile and double-agency. My own is this, as long as everyone is working towards freedom.
But at some point, all these groups must meet and coalesce and understand who is taking which path, so that they can all work hand in hand and meet themselves in the new free world.
Otherwise, if everyone is fighting themselves, freedom will never come.
If Kenneth Okonkwo is sincere about freedom, then I wish him well on his path, and hope to see him at the end of the journey because he indeed proved himself a worthy freedom fighter.
