Barragan has to be one of the most op characters in bleach no matter how much time passes and bleach continues cause the hax of his power is straight instant killing if he touches you in resurrection mode
he doesn't even have to touch you, just getting near him will kill you
Ehh debatable. Ability alone isn't enough if someone's reiatsu is higher as it can be nullify pretty easily.
Not as much as you think because with enough energy, someone can negate it likely it’s just that Baragon is genuinely really powerful so there’s very very few people at that level. It’s still a fascinating and deadly power.
Notice how Harribel, the shark girl with a water theme, has an attack called Ola Azul, literally meaning "blue bullet..." and they made her energy *yellow* and not blue.

17:42 Lets forget about Rukia for now, we still dont know her powers yet fully, but Hitsugaya's Hiyorinmaru is the strongest ice type zanpakuto ever, but Hitsugaya is way too green rn lol, but we can give him a break since he is actually the youngest Captain in history and became one at a very young age because of his excellence in the Soul Reaper Academy and Hiyorinmaru's unparalleled prowess. Infact Hiyorinmaru is so powerful ice zanpakuto that it can manipulate all forms of water and affect weather too.
Tbh I think Byakuya's Senbonzakura and Hitsugaya's Hiyorinmaru might be the 2 zanpakuto out of all zanpakutos whose many named techniques we are shown and we we know about, meanwhile Ichigo still hurling the nth Getsuga Tenshou

Most Captain's Bankai are too powerful to be used openly in the presence of allies bcuz of areal effect. Those that use their Bankai (like say Byakuya or Hitsugaya or Komamura), its because they can use their Bankai without hindering/killing their allies nearby.
Soi Fon has said Omaeda that she expects nothing out of him multiple times during the battle. Honestly she is the Captain of Squad 2, the Stealth Forces and their motto is "Seek Nothing" so it checks out

Yammy is 0 because Kubo (probably) forgot about him until it was too late for it to make sense to have a 10th Espada fight and tried to make him relavent again. Most of the fanbase agrees that it's kind of a dumb decision

Not really, Yammy literally introduced himself as arrancar no.10 while everyone else called themselves espada. So Yammy being no.0 was already planned from the beginning
@@matthasch847 Grimmjow initially introduces himself as Arrancar #6, not an Espada. Kubo probably hadn't finished conceptualizing the Espada when we first meet Yammy

Yammy at that moment was not Espada level so it would be embarassing to introduce himself as the highest rank and then loses lol... He introduces himself as an Espada only after he released because that is the moment his reiatsu increases and his number changes as an actual single digit... Lol
@@waminalkent6705 Arrancar #11 specifically states that every Arrancar from #11 on was numbered by the order of their creation, but that 10 and higher were ordered by power, in other words, Espada, meaning the Arrancar with the number 10 was always supposed to be considered an Espada. Otherwise it would have been explained as "single digit Arrancar" right from the start.

Omaeda is a clown, for the pillars perhaps he can be partially excused as it was Soifon's fault not telling him, but about the Gentei Kaijo (limiter to 20%), I mean, they built an entire replica of the real Karakura town and replaced it with the real one in order to go all out against Aizen and the band, so what was the point to go there heavily nerfed? Make 1+1, stupid.
Anyway, Kubo never misses a cool design with the Arrancars, top3 are a menace, now Barragan and Starrk moments, but the most interesting reveal here was about the aspects of death symbolizing the Espadas, because those define their very essence. You will see more soon.
PS: the OST used during Barragan's resurrecciòn comes from the first filler arc that everyone loves (joking), the Bount arc, yeah, it sounds vampiric.
I actually like the the Bount arc and i do not consider it filler since the 3 puppets are intorduced there (meanwhile after the bount arc thay are there out of nowhere) and multiple people in anime reference it sometimes.
@@kamirostorino9416 the Bount arc is a filler, as well as anything that's not from the manga or Kubo's direct script. Personally, I find it okay overall but still is the weakest of the 4 Bleach filler arcs (arguable with Amagai). It has some good concepts, moments and fights, as well as a nice main villain, but also many undeniable issues, like a terrible pacing, some bad script choices, and forgettable side characters.
Nah, Omaeda is not a clown, he is pretty smart. He was last shown approaching Aizen with Soifon and other Captains/Vizards after their speeches to Ichigo but then totally disappeared from the screen after that. He knew he was no match and be like "nah I'm out"

honestly i really like halibel vasto lorde form, coz that's form it's even cool than right now.
I think it was stated in data book or an interview that the whole number designition for the espada isn't based on ones abiities or combat capacity, but on spiritual power.
To put it simply, Aizen asigned them based on overall power level. Yammy has the biggest one out of all of them, especially how his power level skyrockets the angrier he becomes.
On paper you basically have the incredible hulk, and we know how much of a menace he turns into the angrier he gets.
Aizen has his whole belief that spiritual power is all that is important in order to reach new heights of power.
So he most likely applies to his ranking as well.
Problem with Yammy though, is that he is a meat head that probably can't take full advantage of his immense power. He didn't really invest it into developing some intricate technique or ability, and just preffers to pummel his emenies. Heck, he kees using those Bara ceros, while very fast, don't pack the same amount of punch as a full charged Cero, this most likely because he doesn't have the patience to charge it.
This also applies to the rest of the espada. With how hax Barragans ability is, many argue that he is overall stronger than stark and could beat him, the cowboy however has a crazier spiritual power than Barragan, so thats why he was chosen over him as the Primera.

Haribel aspect of death is very interesting. Others might strive for fukushuu (revenge) but Haribel took it as giisei (sacrifice). Other Espada aspect of death were negative in nature (wrath, loneliness, aging etc.) but sacrifice? Really Haribel?

Honestly I wish Harribel had struck Hitsugaya down completely I feel she could’ve been able to and his ice clone is so op but never seen again. It seems like cop out just to keep him in the fight when komamura and ukitake are kinda just chilling

Hitsugaya's is much stronger than Rukia's. His zanpakuto also controls water and ice and the weather. The problem is Hitsugaya is extremely naive when it comes to fighting and rarely ever tries to use fatal techniques.
Hitsugaya and Rukia don't have the same type of zanpakuto.
Hitsugaya is ice-snow and Rukia is temperature type zanpakuto.
Halibel, the only Espada to release and then somehow be way weaker than they were before, she was destroying Hitsugaya, even when he was in Bankai, and the second Halibel's bum ass releases, she starts getting her ass kicked easily, she was both stronger and faster than Hitsugaya, and had no actual reason to release, yet she did... and started losing

Kubo actually said in one of his club outside interviews that Nel's aspect is the same as Harribel's and Luppi's the same as Grimmjaw's.
Also, Zommari's aspect was intoxication (as in desire & addiction, not "drunk") not Hedonism.

god I hate the Yammy reveal, one of my least favorite choices made in this arc, literally ruins the entire idea of ranks among the espada, cause Yammy is not above the top 4 in my opinion (apart from Halibel's bum ass), even if it's just strictly reiatsu, I think Stark is still above Yammy, Yammy should have just died earlier on and stayed at 10th in rank
