@@lucasljs1545 no, ulquiorra became an arrancar by ripping his mask off when he was travelling alone and threw himself in that white tree-like structure. It’s literally called unmasked that chapter.

Starkk was the only one among the Espada that I genuinely felt bad for.
Wish he could have survived.

The reason why I felt bad for Starkk and not as much for her was simple because the dude just wanted comrades.

The thing about Kyoraku is that He Doesn't dictate the rules, his sword does. So he also has to adapt to the game currently chosen, along with his opponent.

I always wished Kubo wrote Starkk to survive and join the squads lol. It'd be so dope to see him as a captain...comrades on his level just like he wanted.
I always found it so interesting Aizen personally went to Stark to recruit him. Adds more context later on.
Stark I definitely feel should been one of the few to survive. He is not only a cool character but his views and level of power was so interesting. Now we’re getting into the thick of things too!

He went against my favorite Espada, and it's sad, as like Starrk proposed at the beginning, they could have pretended to fight, chill out, and become best friends after the conflict. I like the concept of more power = loneliness, it's recurring in Bleach, and Starrk was defined by that, he killed anyone nearby just with his presence just for being too powerful, he didn't want that, all he wished was for friends, to escape solitudine, which also the reason why he split his own soul in two. Starrk in essence was a good guy, he ended up in a group of villains, and yet he genuinely felt indebted to Aizen (such a great manipulator). Sad death, rest in peace Primera 🐺1⃣
PS: Katen Kyokotsu is my favorite sword, but now you can have a reason more to watch the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc later. Like the title says, the zanpakutos rebel against their masters, so you get to see the majority of the sword spirits of the Gotei officers, including Shunsui's lady.

I know that some people didn't like Starrk as the Primera Espada but for me tit was perfect.
He was so strong that he had to split in two just to have someone who wouldn't die from his presence.
Also, while we don't see him really go all out due to his personality, he was strong enough to beat any other captain in the Fake Karakura (Except for Yama obviusly), he just had the bad luck to fight against Kyoraku.
For me, this is one of the top 5 fights in Bleach.
@@Matty_14 there are limits to how much captains like shunsui can show their powers too though, he can't use his bankai with people around, you know how his bankai works
I couldn't care less that Starrk was the Primera or his powers but as a character I loved him a lot really, I wish he would have survived, I would have loved to see more from him in terms of content. He was really cool and also personally I think had the coolest looking resurreccion among the espadas
@@shadowstorm9363 Yeah, I know that Shinsui couldn't go all out, but still, even with only is Shikai, he remains stronger than the majority of the captains, especially at this point in the series.
I also love Starrk as a character, he is my favourite Espada, and I'll go even further saying that he was perfect for the Primera role.

Shunsui's shikai is deadly depending on how it wants play...now...imagine just imagine his bankai. I can't wait to finally see it animated in cour 3 of the TYBW.

As much as I loved Ulquiorra him and stark surviving would mean us fans would constantly say who is stronger Stark or Ulquiorra.

I am not talking about you my friend but sooner or later the community would start who is stronger such is with how people stared a debate over orhime might be in love with Ulquiorra or The current Gisslle and Choralate gender nonsense on Twitter and TH-cam despite we all know those two are men yet there are debates on it which serve no purpose seeing how the creator said that is a man problem solved so if these two were alive most people would say why isn't stark king of huecamondo or why isn't Ulquiorra king of huecamondo(despite it being out of character for him) some would even go as far as sending replyes on TH-cam (it happened to me) over a joke because they think everyone should fight amongst themselves in hecomondo to see who is stronger.@@shadowstorm9363
He is not joking there is filler arc(probably you skipped it) where zanpakutou rampage and turn to their human like form and their forms are pretty much canon. Kyoraku zanpakutou is milf like lady
Wasn't his zanpakutou the milf and a little girl since it is 2 swords I can't remember but I feel like his, Ukitake, and renjis were all 2 spirits for the zanpakutous.

Can't wait to see your thoughts on the whole Tousen vs Komamura fight. Theirs out of this whole battle to me felt the most emotional(trying not to spoil of course)and his reasons for joining Aizen made me feel sorry for him. Plus the dynamic between him and Komamura was just perfect.

listen, the fact that even Rose and Love- two people who knew Shunsui more then 100 years prior to the starting point of the show-
were surprised by what the later's Shikai can do,
just goes to show you how Shunsui was never too serious (except together with Jushiro against old man Yamamoto way back in Soul Society arc- a fight which was also off screen and no result)

Among the espada aizen had 3 favourites. Starrk ulquiora and grimmjow. Each for a diffenrent reason.
Grimmjow doesn't submit and wants to be at the top. Not because he thinks that he deserves it but because he doesnt want people to look down on him.
Aizen gave him the option to always grow and reach the top. That is Grimmjow's reason for loyalty.
Ulquiorra has no idea for reason to do something or to even exist but he is genuine trying to understand reasons for things.
Aizen gave him reasons to do things and always explained to reasoning to him. That is Ulquiorra's reason for loyalty.
Starrk was way too strong and was lonely at the top.
Aizen gave him a place where he wasnt at the top and was surrounded by other stong people. That is Starrk's reason for loyalty.
On the contrast aizen thinks sacrificing for others while giving up on your own goals is ridiculous and it goes against his own goals and "believe".

Also, I really recommend watching the Filler Arc about the Zampakutous. It is a really good arc, and all info on it is Canon. It will expand so much in a lot of characters of the series. You will like it.

Starrk and Nnoitora are the literally exact opposite, one is weak (emotionwise) and thinks being strong physical wise is gonna change how everyone sees him and stop seeing him as a inferior being while the other is overall strong but wants to be weak so everyone ignores him and sees him as less of a threat, both are broken and sad but in opposite ways. Nnoitora wanted to be killed by someone worthy and stronger than him so he can finally feel and let other think that hes not weak rather the one of the strongest , Starrk wanted to stay back, relax and enjoy his life as everyone else especially the weak ones since weak people tend to never do anything in battle. Now that you’ve gotten this far I can give my opinion on the Espadas. I’m like the biggest Bleach fan but one criticism I have is this particular arc where all the Espada get defeated in pretty much a clean sweep. They were talked about as a big threat in the beginning, and then they all die with no casualties on the soul reapers side. For Shunsui to defeat the number one with his shikai, and for Aizen to prematurely end Harribel’s fight like she’s trash…the Espada were a huge disappointment in their battles. With that being said, I still love the espadas, I just wish they deserved better
Without the vizard it would have been a massacre. Plus only a few espadas were vasto lorde and none of these has been defeated in a one-on-one, except ulquiorra that was defeated by hollowfied ichigo that could have destroyed basically anyone besides Aizen and Yama…
@@Kal911the fact remains they were all defeated, regardless how. My point was the Espada should’ve had some Ws and someone in the soul reapers side should’ve died
@@itskenlang The point is that Toshiro said that 10 vasto lorde plus Aizen, Gin and Tosen would have meant the end of Soul Society, until now the only vasto lorde proven to be canonically were 4, and Toshiro didn't include vizards because he didn't know them, which means that Soul Society even against that formation would have been destroyed without the vizards. They literally changed everything. Stark basically fought 4 captains, Harribel fought a captain and two vice-captains and still only Aizen finished her, Barragan was defeated by his own power. Without the vizards, it would have been the end of it. I would have loved to see 10 vasto lorde espadas.
Why you think ukitake didnt want lilinette to fight? Imo ive always felt that he knew what was going to happen.
