While this came out way before IF was announced to be shut down this is a great send off to it because imo this OG was amazing with it bringing back so many characters and had a bittersweet ending, and I see it as canon. Thank you IF 🎉
Well yeah if he hadn't it'd be really weird, Touma's not a fing simp, he values all life and remember... he HAS died before... so theres a bit of a personal element to the whole, returns are people thing for him.
....Seriously Kamachi.... ANTMAN WAS YOUR SOLUTION!?! XD its a shame, I suspect thats a result of being forced to rush the ending, so they didn't have time to figure out a properly satisfying solution to *how* the returns were saved. But at the very least I think the major character beats were meant to be mostly the same, with Touma talking to each one and in essence *resolving* their unfinished business. Allowing each one to move on, right down to Frenda requesting one last battle to get to know him, which was honestly pretty sweet ImO
@@Vacxy Yeah it feels like a cop out sadly... like I don't mind him not wanting to kill the returns off... but at least keep it ambiguous if they are alive or not.

We get Round 4 of Touma vs. Accelerator in a gacha game on its way out. Isn't that something?
Edit: ...and did Touma just turn on Misaka as well?
It’s mostly because of a game mechanic, dev want us to at least fight someone in each chapter lmao
