- Yes, I actually fish! First Non-Lofi Video on my channel. Taking in the sea air at Torrey Pines State Beach. A bit of a struggle in the first half but still a fun day.

The journey of sand crab hunting was great.
Great video and good production!
get out there and fish, tight lines friend! 💁🏻♂️ lol
I’ve got the same rod and reel! That thing slays the shore
Howdy reel tribe; I’m so happy your vid just popped up on my timeline because I’m going to a rodeo in San Diego from Vegas in early January but I wanna hit Torrey pines so bad and no one has vids surf fishing there. I’ve never surf fished so do you recommend any baits or soft plastics that are just killer for first timers
For sure! The 2in Berkeley Sand Worms are a sure fire way to hook into some nice surf perch. If you wanna get into the sand a bit and dig up some sand crabs, natural bait is always good too. You can't go wrong with either in my opinion. Good luck and I hope you have fun at the rodeo!
@@ReeloftheTribe awesome that’s what everyone seems to say is to use Berkeley sand worms!!!!! I hate to ask this but it seems Torrey pines is a really hit or miss beach even tho it’s beautiful, is there any beaches close by that are always very productive for surf perch
@@Redneckkratos If you wanted to stay near Torrey Pines I would say also check Del Mar. My go to beach is Silver Strand, but that's down by Imperial Beach and the water quality is hit or miss recently. Sadly I'm not in San Diego right now or I'd actually go out and check some spots for you!
@@ReeloftheTribe thanks brother yeah I was told Del Mar can be good too, and can you literally stay on Torrey pines and just walk to Del Mar?
Awesome info! Is the parking free there? Thx
Hello sir, thank you for your video.
I start fishing at sea from the edge.
Do you think I could use a sabiki rig on the beach?
Mike it's me and I got GoPro Ready for Miramar need some helpful information on how to get started 😊🤙
That's so awesome! I'll need to find a day this week to make it to Miramar. Setting up the GoPro was a little difficult for me, the best thing in my opinion is to look at a lot of TH-cam videos about them.
Croaker is a corvina cousin. Good eating. Ghost shrimp bait from the bay FTW... Also bass and perch smash.
How do we get together to fish and learn?
lYou’re using exactly what benjie Kim suggests haha. Good shit
11:14 the time lapse is so beautiful aahh
Hey I just went for a parking spot there today lol
The jumping fish are mullet.
I tried there but the seaweeds terribly thick
And never recommend this channel button activated on these weirdos
