Long time no see, probably don’t recognize me but I’m that same guy from last season and I had a flag in my picture but TH-cam suspended my main account.
RGIII was ahead his time. With guys like Kyler and Russ coming up I think RGIII would’ve been better in today’s game.
Russ was in the same draft as RG3

Alfred Morris was another one of those guys that looked so good, and then just fell off of a cliff out of nowhere.
He balled out in this one
Jay Gruden was the cause of that. His poor play calling and refused to run Morris more than 10 times a game was plan dumb. Morris was one of those backs that got better more times he touched the ball. He needed the ball at least 20 times a game.

@@MrPesante2008It is true that gruden didn’t know what he was doing when it came to the run game, but morris style also relied too heavily on his youth. You could see in the playoff game against the packers that morris just didn’t have it anymore. Really poor vision
@@MrPesante2008exactly I remember watching him play his rookie preseason and thinking damn this guy can run the ball. Mike Shanahan knew that too and decided “screw it let’s start this 6th round pick”. He later would go on to rush 1600+ yards
@@MrPesante2008u my friend kno football. Theres a player like that rite now on my Atlanta Falcons. Tyler Allgeier. He wuz a beast at BYU. And he rushed for 1000 yards his rookie season. Then we drafted BJ Robison and everybody so obsessed wit him that now Allgeier doesnt get touches. It drives me crazy. Its wild how many different things can determine how a players career plays out

No more Hail To The Redskins fight song after every score, this "football team" is a shell of it's former self. I thought we finally found our franchise QB in RG3 and it was devastating when he tore his acl in that playoff game against Seattle. He was never the same after that.

I remember this game vividly. At work with a pain in the ass cowboys fan (everyone has one) and continually checking out the game on tv. Back then I thought the future was so bright for Washington. Little did I know that I would go through more years of heartbreak.
That touchdown throw to Robinson was a thing pf beauty.
That TD pass to Santana Moss was literally perfect

the coaching was horrible. Mikeshanahan wanted out, when jay came there was some hope, but injures. IF u put this RG3 on redskins right now, they are contenders. with healthy Desean jackson

Looking at these RG3 games and seeing great he was before he got sabotaged by his own coaches, got hurt and lost his confidence is something else. The Skins were scoring over 30 points a game in MANY games. No telling how many titles RG3 would have won if he had a coach and management that had his best interests in mind. And I'm not even a Washington fan, but you have to give credit where it is due. RG3 was the man.
Or it was a great game vs a putrid dallas defense and the league figured him out

@@calebroe8990 u are only allowed one helmet color. so no more cowboys white helmets or other helmets that aren’t the main color
Caleb Roe teams can only use one helmet. So maybe in theory they could wear the jersey and pants but it would look ridiculous with the new silver helmets so it’s just not going to happen anytime soon

His performance was all the more remarkable when you consider that (1) the ‘Skins were held scoreless in the 1st quarter and (2) the Cowpies scored first.

59 London fletcher is the most underrated LB in NFL history but also the most dependable one
he saved a touchdown by pounding Miles Austin
He had 5 interceptions that year as a 37 year old. A lot of games that season he had to carry the whole defense on his back. Only LB in history with more tackles than him is Ray Lewis.
And opposite of him was the most underrated qb ever
This is one Thanksgiving game my family doesn't talk about we don't talk about the one against the Panthers either but it was fun to watch a little and I really hope the Cowboys bring back those uniforms on Thanksgiving

However, I do have some hope regarding the 80s half of our generation. Based on 2020 exit polls, I feel like they're starting to wake up and realize the left isn't all that great and the right isn't as bad as they thought. Let's hope my half (90s half) can finally mature and grow up soon.

They absolutely kicked our asses that one Thanksgiving until we NEARLY came back late in the game but whenever someone delivers a challenge towards like they did, never count us out till the very end. Hopefully my Boyz get payback Thursday, we need this game.

RG was extraordinary on that field his rookie season, explosiveness, rocket arm, touch. He really had it all except for durability.

I forgot how good the 2012 team was. They were firing on all cylinders at this point in the season. You can also see the huge difference in culture compared to since then in Washington. Love the 99 skins too. Wasn’t old enough to see the 80 and early 90s skins teams.
